Built-in Toilet in Mobile House

Admin September 22, 2026

The design of built-in toilets in mobile houses focuses on adapting to mobile scenarios while balancing functionality and spatial efficiency. The main features are as follows:

1. Structural Stability and Sealed Leak Prevention

Mobile houses may experience bumps during transportation or use, so the installation of toilet components needs to be shock-resistant. Toilets, sinks, shower facilities, and pipelines typically use flexible connectors (such as corrugated pipes) and additional fixing devices (such as metal brackets) to cushion vibrations, preventing component detachment or pipeline breakage. For waterproofing, the floors and walls often use integrally molded waterproof membranes (such as PVC or rubber materials) or form a continuous waterproof layer by applying flexible waterproof coatings multiple times to prevent leakage caused by joint cracking due to movement.

2. Efficient Use of Space Layout

Integrating toilet, washing, and showering functions in a limited space requires optimizing the layout through modular design. Common solutions include:

  • Integrated Bathroom: The factory pre-molds an overall chassis, reducing on-site splicing joints and lowering the risk of water leakage;
  • Wall-mounted Fixtures: Toilets and sinks are designed to be suspended, saving floor space and facilitating cleaning;
  • Corner and Vertical Space Utilization: Installing triangular sinks, corner shower enclosures, or adding storage functions through wall-mounted cabinets;
  • Dry-Wet Separation: Dividing the shower area with shower curtains or lightweight glass partitions to prevent water vapor from spreading to other areas.

3. Key System Components

  1. Water Supply System: It relies on a main freshwater tank and a booster pump (12V or 220V) for stable water supply. For hot water supply, instant water heaters (heating on demand) or storage water heaters (pre-heating) are used.
  2. Drainage System: Gray water (wastewater from showers and sinks) is discharged into a gray water tank, while black water (sewage from toilets) is discharged into a dedicated black water tank. The black water tank needs to be cleaned regularly, and degrading agents (to decompose waste) and deodorants (to suppress odors) should be added.
  3. Ventilation System: An exhaust fan is installed on the top to forcibly expel moisture and exhaust gases. Some models also add small exterior windows to enhance natural ventilation and prevent the growth of bacteria in humid environments.

4. Types of Sanitary Fixtures

  • Toilets: They are divided into portable toilets (with a separable black water tank for easy emptying) and macerating toilets (which directly process waste through mechanical maceration, reducing the capacity requirement of the black water tank);
  • Showers and Sinks: They often adopt compact designs, such as folding shower doors and rotatable sinks, to adapt to narrow spaces.

5. Market Examples

The 3m×7m mobile house from Guangdong Feisite Container Factory is equipped with a living room, a bedroom, and a toilet, with a squat toilet and shower pre-installed in the bathroom. The mobile prefabricated houses in Suzhou, Jiangsu, offer thickened color steel plate toilets and support custom shower enclosures. Guangdong Guangzhou's Zhongrun Housing customizes fire-resistant container guardhouses with integrated toilets, priced at approximately 9,600 yuan per set. These products meet the needs of different scenarios (such as construction sites, scenic spots, and temporary residences) through modular production and customized services.
