Mobile Home Container Layout
The layout of mobile home containers should be designed according to specific types and needs. Common layout methods include single-container independent use, multi-container combination, and staggered stacking to expand space.

Single-container independent use: This is commonly seen in standard container houses, such as those with 20-foot or 40-foot specifications. These container houses are structurally sturdy and easy to transport, making them suitable as independent office units or temporary residences. The internal layout typically includes an open office or living area, and partitions can be set up as needed to divide functional areas such as desks, rest areas, simple kitchens, or bathrooms.
Multi-container combination: By connecting or joining multiple containers, a larger usable space can be created. For example, after打通 (connecting) two containers, a flat layout with an integrated living and dining area, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a bathtub can be formed, covering an area of about 100 square meters. When connecting containers, attention should be paid to the sealing and stability of the joints to ensure the overall structural safety.
Staggered stacking to expand space: Using a staggered stacking method from top to bottom can create richer spatial levels. The ground floor can be reserved for a leisure courtyard or aisle area to improve ventilation and lighting, while the upper floor serves as the main living or office space. This layout method is suitable for scenarios with high requirements for spatial comfort, such as long-term on-site office work or high-end temporary residences.
Internal layout optimization: In terms of internal layout, attention should be paid to space utilization efficiency and comfort. For example, using multi-functional furniture such as folding beds, folding tables, and integrated cabinets can enhance space flexibility. Reasonably setting up windows and sliding doors can maximize natural light and achieve cross-ventilation. Integrating environmental protection elements such as solar panels and rainwater collection systems can improve sustainability.
Layout for special types: For special types of container houses such as foldable and expandable ones, the layout methods also vary. Foldable container houses compress in volume during transportation and can be quickly unfolded on site, making them suitable for scenarios that require frequent relocation. Expandable container houses add side or end expansion modules on the basis of containers, increasing the usable area by 30%-50% after unfolding, and are suitable for long-term on-site office work with high requirements for spatial comfort.
