Fire Prevention of Mobile Home Containers
There are differences in fire prevention among mobile home containers. Some have fire safety hazards, while others have good fire resistance performance, and fire safety can be ensured through certain measures.

Situations with fire safety hazards
To save costs, some temporary buildings on construction sites and illegal buildings of enterprises have problems in the selection of core materials for mobile home containers. They often use flammable materials such as polystyrene and polyurethane foam, which have poor fire resistance and safety. Common ignition sources like welding sparks and cigarette butts can cause them to burn. Once flammable and combustible sandwich materials catch fire, they burn extremely fast. At 80℃, they will melt, deform, and drip, and the drippings will trigger more severe burning. Moreover, their combustion products are highly toxic. After a fire breaks out, the flames spread rapidly, and collapse accidents are likely to occur in a short time. After collapse, the container board houses are wrapped in iron sheets, making it very difficult for firefighting water guns to shoot water inside, greatly increasing the difficulty of firefighting and rescue. At the same time, when polystyrene and polyurethane burn, they are accompanied by thick black smoke, and toxic smoke quickly accumulates inside the rooms, making it difficult for trapped people to survive and prone to casualties.
Products with good fire resistance performance
Some enterprises have developed fire-resistant mobile home containers. For example, Henan Tianfeng Group has developed Class A fire-resistant prefabricated container-type mobile board houses. The inner and outer walls of these houses are made of 50mm or 75mm thick Tianfeng rock wool (PU edge-sealed) or polyurethane sandwich panels. There are also products on the market such as worker dormitory mobile board houses, on-site residential K-type fire-resistant rock wool sandwich panel houses for construction sites, etc. These products have improved the fire resistance performance of mobile home containers to a certain extent.
Measures to ensure fire safety
To ensure the fire safety of container board houses, it is best to use rock wool panels and fire-resistant cotton as fillers during production to make them reach or exceed the Class A fire resistance limit. During use, heat sources and ignition sources should not be placed close to the container board houses, and open-flame operations should be kept at a certain distance. Wires and cables should be protected with sleeves. Socket and switch boxes should be made of metal galvanized boxes and installed in an exposed manner. Simple firefighting equipment should be equipped both inside and outside. In addition, a safety distance of at least 6 meters should be maintained between container board houses, and they should not be set up in violation of regulations to reduce the risk of fire and the possibility of spread.
