Classification of Mobile Environmental Toilets

Admin September 27, 2026

There are various ways to classify mobile environmental toilets, mainly including six categories: by material, structural form, mobility method, sewage treatment method, usage location, and product type.

Classified by material, mobile environmental toilets can be divided into plastic toilets, color-steel toilets, fiberglass-reinforced plastic toilets, and tent-style toilets. Plastic toilets use lightweight plastic as the main material, featuring low cost and easy cleaning; color-steel toilets adopt colored coated steel sheets, combining corrosion resistance with aesthetics; fiberglass-reinforced plastic toilets are made of glass fiber-reinforced plastic, offering high strength and good weather resistance; tent-style toilets use tent fabric as the enclosure structure, suitable for temporary or emergency scenarios.

Classified by structural form, they can be divided into single-unit structures and composite structures. Single-unit mobile toilets are independent units, facilitating rapid deployment; composite structures are composed of multiple functional modules, offering strong scalability and suitable for places with high foot traffic.

Classified by mobility method, they include lifting and handling types and powered towing types. Lifting and handling types rely on lifting equipment for overall lifting and transportation, suitable for short-distance movement between fixed locations; powered towing types are equipped with a power system or can be connected to a towing vehicle, enabling long-distance autonomous movement or towing transportation.

Classified by sewage treatment method, they cover waterless packing types, ordinary water flushing types, water-saving flushing types, high-pressure water-air flushing types, foam sealing types, microbial degradation types, and vacuum self-priming water flushing types. Waterless packing types collect excreta through degradable bags, requiring no water source; foam sealing types use foam to cover and reduce odors; microbial degradation types decompose excreta through microorganisms, achieving harmless treatment; vacuum self-priming water flushing types use vacuum negative pressure for rapid sewage discharge, commonly seen in high-speed rail scenarios.

Classified by usage location, they include economical and practical types, urban modern types, landscape types, and star-rated standard types. Economical and practical types focus on cost control, suitable for construction sites and other scenarios; urban modern types have a simple design, fitting well with urban public spaces; landscape types incorporate natural elements, harmonizing with scenic area environments; star-rated standard types are equipped with high-end facilities, providing a comfortable experience.

Classified by product type, they include waterless packing mobile public toilets, foam sealing types, water flushing types, solar-powered types, mobile towing types, high-pressure water-air flushing types, prefabricated integrated types, and simple types. Solar-powered types integrate photovoltaic power generation systems, being energy-efficient and environmentally friendly; prefabricated integrated types adopt a modular design, allowing for rapid assembly; simple types focus on low cost and lightweight construction, meeting temporary needs.
