Mobile Container House Photos

Admin September 15, 2026

Currently, we cannot directly provide photos of mobile container houses, but we can describe their typical appearance and structural features based on public evaluations and case studies.

Container-style Office Houses

These are modified from standard containers, with common sizes being 20 feet (length: 6.058 meters, width: 2.438 meters, height: 2.591 meters) and 40 feet (length: 12.192 meters, width: 2.438 meters, height: 2.591 meters). The appearance retains the original rectangular structure of the container, with a corrosion-resistant steel plate surface, mostly in industrial gray, white, or custom colors. For example, the packing boxes from Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. use a fully steel structural frame, with a frame deformation rate of only 0.18% under extreme conditions (such as a Category 12 typhoon or a Category 8 earthquake). The edges and corners of their appearance are rounded to reduce the risk of bumps, making them suitable for long-term engineering camp scenarios.

Foldable Office Houses

During transportation, their volume is compressed through hydraulic or mechanical structures and then restored to a standard office space when unfolded. The folded volume can be reduced to 1/5 to 1/4 of the unfolded state. For example, the foldable containers from Suzhou Zhongnan can be loaded with 20 sets on a single 13-meter truck when folded. When unfolded, a single person can complete the operation in 5 minutes using a hydraulic system. In the folded state, the appearance is a flat rectangular prism, and when unfolded, it takes on the form of a conventional house, suitable for emergency rescue and short-term turnover scenarios.

Expandable Office Houses

These add side or end expansion modules to the container, increasing the usable area by 30%-50% when unfolded. For example, some products push the expansion modules outward using slide rails or hydraulic devices to form additional office or rest areas. The appearance shows the connection structure between the main container body and the expansion part, with an internal ceiling height close to that of a conventional house, suitable for long-term office scenarios with high space comfort requirements.

Customized Creative Office Houses

These combine elements such as glass curtain walls, wood-grain finishes, and irregular structures, breaking away from the traditional container appearance. For example, a project in Shenzhen uses three containers combined through cutting and splicing to form a 45-square-meter office space, with an independent workstation, conference table, and storage area inside. The exterior is covered with a glass curtain wall and wooden decorative panels, combining a sense of fashion with functionality, suitable for brand display and cultural and creative park scenarios.
