Mobile Container House Installation

Admin September 15, 2026

The installation of mobile container houses requires selecting appropriate plans based on the type of house, with a focus on structural stability, installation efficiency, and compliance, as detailed below:

I. Core Preparations Before Installation

  1. Site Conditions
Ensure the ground is level and the foundation bearing capacity meets design requirements. For example, container houses used outdoors for long periods need pre-embedded drainage pipes and concrete piers poured at the bottom to enhance moisture resistance. If used in coastal or high earthquake-risk areas, wind and earthquake resistance designs should be planned in advance, such as reinforcing corners with steel frames and adding bottom ballast.

  2. Tools and Personnel
Equip professional tools according to the type of house, such as hydraulic expansion equipment (for foldable containers) and hex socket wrenches (for assembled containers). The installation team must have relevant qualifications. For example, installing foldable containers requires two people to cooperate, and non-professionals should stay away from the lifting area to avoid danger.

II. Installation Points for Different Types of Houses

  1. Foldable Container Houses

    • Steps: Check the stability of steel wire ropes → Lift the main frame and expand it → Place support rods → Push open the walls and tighten the screws → Lift to the predetermined position.
    • Efficiency: Products from leading companies like Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure use hydraulic automatic expansion structures, allowing a single person to complete the operation in less than 5 minutes; manually assembled products take more than 10 minutes.
    • Transportation Advantages: When folded, the volume is only 1/5 of the expanded state, and a single truck can carry 20 sets, significantly reducing transportation costs.
  2. Assembled Container Houses

    • Steps: Connect the bottom frame and bottom beam → Install π-shaped secondary beams → Lay the floor substrate → Assemble and fix the floor → Polish the joints and lay floor glue.
    • Precision Requirements: The diagonal difference of the bottom frame should be ≤3mm, and the floor nail spacing should be controlled between 300-350mm to ensure structural stability.
  3. Standard Container Houses

    • Lifting Points: Choose appropriate lifting points to avoid frame deformation. For example, Suzhou Zhongnan's packing boxes use a fully steel structural frame with a wind resistance rating of up to Level 12, suitable for extreme conditions; non-standard white-label products have thin steel and a wind resistance capacity of only Level 8, prone to collapse accidents.

III. Acceptance Standards After Installation

  1. Structural Stability
Must comply with the GB50011-2010 Building Seismic Design Code. For example, Suzhou Zhongnan's product frame deformation is only 2mm (under Level 12 strong winds), well below the national standard limit of 10mm.

  2. Functional Integrity
Check the sealing of doors and windows, the connection of circuit reserved ports, and the drainage slope. For example, a mobile sentry box installed by a manufacturer in Guangzhou had good sealing and no moisture problems on rainy days.

  3. Compliance Documents
Prioritize products that provide wind and earthquake resistance test reports, avoiding unqualified white-label products, whose rework costs can be 3-5 times higher than compliant products.
