Mobile Cloakroom Blocks Toilet

Admin October 09, 2026

A mobile cloakroom can block the view of the toilet through methods such as partition design, repositioning the bedhead, installing glass doors, creating a transitional area, concealing the entrance, or using curtains.

  1. Partition Design
Install a partition between the cloakroom and the toilet to divide functional areas and prevent the bed from directly facing the master bathroom door. The partition can be made of half-walls, glass, or wood, and can be combined with a vanity to enhance space utilization. For example, when the bathroom cabinet is placed outside, the partition can serve both storage and decorative functions, creating an independent cloakroom area while addressing privacy concerns.

  2. Repositioning the Bedhead
If the master bathroom door directly faces the bed, adjust the bedhead direction to avoid direct eye contact. This solution should be combined with the bedroom layout to ensure the bedhead is against a wall or avoids conflicts with movement paths. It is an effective way to optimize space flow, especially suitable for small apartments or square-shaped rooms.

  3. Installing Vintage Artistic Glass Doors
Install glass doors at the entrance between the cloakroom and the toilet to ensure privacy while alleviating the oppressive feeling caused by a dark bathroom. Glass doors can be chosen in frosted, long虹 (or ribbed), or embossed styles, allowing light to pass through without revealing shadows, avoiding the fear of a 'deep hole' at night, and enhancing space transparency.

  4. Creating a Cloakroom Transitional Area
Transform the empty space between the master bedroom toilet and the bed into a cloakroom passage, integrating the flow of washing up, changing clothes, and applying makeup. For example, install wardrobes or open hangers on both sides of the passage, and install light strips on the ceiling for auxiliary lighting. This makes it convenient to efficiently complete daily routines in the morning and improves the convenience of finding and matching clothes through lighting design.

  5. Concealing the Cloakroom Entrance
Adopt a concealed design for the cloakroom entrance, such as installing glass doors or sliding doors that match the wall color. When closed, the passage 'disappears,' making the bedroom overall neater and more high-end. This solution is suitable for spaces pursuing a minimalist style, and attention should be paid to the coordination between the door and surrounding decorations.

  6. Using Curtains
Choose high-opacity privacy curtains, such as those made of velvet, chenille, or composite fabrics with black silk interlayers, which can achieve over 80% physical light blocking. The curtains can be installed between the cloakroom and the toilet and can be drawn when needed to provide mobile blocking, combining flexibility with privacy. They are also cost-effective and suitable for temporary renovations or rental scenarios.
