Mobile Box Toilet
A mobile box toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole to provide toilet services for the public and customers, with advantages such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation.

I. Basic Components A mobile box toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. Among them, the fecal sewage storage tank or treatment device is used to collect and treat excreta, ensuring a hygienic environment; the floor slab and walls form the interior space, providing a comfortable toilet environment; the sanitary ware and washing equipment meet basic cleaning needs; the water tank supplies flushing water; the roof protects against wind and rain; and the mobile device enables the toilet to be moved as a whole to meet the needs of different locations.
II. Classification Methods
- By structural form: Mobile toilets can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure mobile toilets have a simple structure and are easy to move and install; composite-structure mobile toilets combine multiple materials and technologies, offering higher stability and durability.
- By mobility method: They can be classified as lifting/handling mobile toilets and powered/trailer-mounted mobile toilets. Lifting/handling mobile toilets are suitable for short-distance movement and fixed locations; powered/trailer-mounted mobile toilets have greater mobility and can adapt to long-distance movement and complex terrains.
- By sewage treatment method: They can be categorized as water-flush and non-water-flush suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-pack mobile toilets. Water-flush and non-water-flush suction-type mobile toilets are suitable for locations with a water source; circulating water-flush mobile toilets reduce water consumption by recycling water resources; dry-pack mobile toilets do not require a water source and are suitable for locations with water shortages or inconvenient water access.
III. Application Scenarios Mobile box toilets are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. Their mobility and flexibility enable them to quickly respond to toilet needs in different locations, providing the public with convenient and hygienic toilet facilities.
