Minyuan Square Mobile Toilets

The mobile toilets at Minyuan Square include two types: 'Vehicle Toilets' and Smart Toilets, each with distinct features to meet the different needs of tourists.

'Vehicle Toilets'

During the May Day holiday, the Urban Management Committee of Heping District brought two 'Vehicle Toilets' to Minyuan Square. In terms of the number of toilet stalls, each 'Vehicle Toilet' is equipped with approximately 10 stalls, a scale that can somewhat alleviate the pressure of tourists queuing for toilets. Regarding service capacity, they can serve over 3,000 tourists throughout the day, indicating a high reception capacity that meets the toilet demands of a large number of tourists at Minyuan Square during holidays.

In terms of hygiene and cleanliness, 'Vehicle Toilets' adhere to strict management standards. Cleaning staff disinfect toilet bowls, door handles, faucets, and other areas every half hour. This frequent cleaning effectively reduces the breeding of bacteria and viruses, ensuring a hygienic toilet environment. Moreover, 'Vehicle Toilets' are more enclosed than traditional toilets, with tightly sealed doors and windows that prevent odor from escaping, providing tourists with a relatively comfortable toilet experience. Additionally, the toilets are fully equipped with facilities such as toilet paper, hand soap, and hand dryers for the convenience of tourists. When the weather turns warm, the air conditioning is turned on in advance to further enhance the toilet experience for tourists.

Smart Toilets

The smart toilets at Minyuan Square feature advanced automated disinfection capabilities. They come with built-in UV automatic disinfection. When the system detects that a user has left, blue light above activates, and the UV light disinfects the toilet bowl twice, a process that lasts about 30 seconds. After disinfection, the toilet automatically returns to an open state. This intelligent disinfection method effectively kills bacteria and viruses in a timely manner, ensuring toilet hygiene and safety. Each individual toilet stall can be disinfected about 150 times a day, with automatic UV disinfection initiated for about a minute after each tourist uses the toilet. Such frequent disinfection measures significantly reduce the risk of cross-infection, providing tourists with a healthier and safer toilet environment.
