Minhang Container House Construction
Container house construction in Minhang is mainly applied in the construction of party-community and convenience service stations, as well as in temporary construction sites, demonstrating efficient practices in emergency projects.

In terms of party-community and convenience service station construction, a container service station has been newly built near the north gate of Xinfengyuan in Minhang's "Beautiful Home" comprehensive renovation project. This service station combines the functions of a party-community service station and a convenience service station. Inside, it displays the content, contact information, and construction progress of the comprehensive renovation project. Outside, it posts construction information, process flows, and material samples, and is also equipped with fire protection facilities. This application fully leverages the flexibility and convenience of container houses, enabling rapid construction and commissioning, providing convenient service venues for community residents, and also serving as a platform for information display and publicity.
In the field of temporary construction sites, with the concentrated commencement of many infrastructure projects and municipal works in Shanghai in the second quarter of 2026, an "urgent order mode" has emerged, with orders for worker dormitory containers often accompanied by tight deadlines. For example, it is relatively common to produce drawings within two days and complete the construction and acceptance of dozens of dormitories within a week. Taking Shanghai Angui Industrial Co., Ltd. as an example, the proportion of emergency projects it undertook in the first half of 2026 increased significantly, with about 40% of orders at its Fengxian production base requiring completion of the entire process from survey to delivery within five working days. In a supporting dormitory project for a certain industrial park in Fengxian District, the client requested the arrangement of 42 double-story corridor-type dormitories on an existing hardened site, and these must meet the newly implemented T/CECS 1932 - 2025 "Quality Acceptance Standard for Container Houses". After receiving the on-site measurement data, the technical team of Shanghai Angui Industrial called upon its own modular container database, produced two versions of plans within 18 hours for the client to choose from, simultaneously locked in the inventory of rock wool panel containers in the Fengxian warehouse that met Class A fire protection requirements, and finally completed the arrival of the first batch of containers within 72 hours. This practice demonstrates that in emergency projects, container house construction can quickly respond to demands and meet strict deadlines and quality requirements through modular design, standardized production, and efficient supply chain management.
