Microbial Circulation Mobile Toilet

Admin October 10, 2026

The microbial circulation mobile toilet is an environmentally friendly toilet based on microbial degradation technology, suitable for use in waterless environments, high-altitude deserts, and other regions.

Technical Principle:
The core of the microbial circulation mobile toilet is the use of specific microbial communities (such as marine microorganisms and anaerobic ammonium oxidation bacteria) to decompose excreta. Through metabolic activities, these microorganisms gradually break down the organic matter in feces into water vapor, carbon dioxide, and a small amount of organic fertilizer, achieving harmless treatment and resource utilization of excreta. Urine is converted into liquid fertilizer after microbial treatment and can be directly used for agriculture or greening.

Technical Types:

  1. Solid-Liquid Separation Type: Some ecological public toilets adopt solid-liquid separation technology to separate feces and urine for separate treatment. During initial operation, 70-80 kilograms of water need to be injected once to activate the microbial community. Subsequently, water conservation, mobility, and waterless flushing functions are achieved through microbial decomposition.
  2. Water-Free Biological Treatment Fertilzer Production Type: These toilets are equipped with biochemical reactors containing biological fillers that can be replenished periodically. Feces are fermented by microorganisms to produce humic organic fertilizer, and urine is treated and used as liquid fertilizer, with no need for flushing throughout the process.
  3. Foam Microbial Type: This type uses foam covering technology to reduce odors and combines microbial degradation for excreta treatment, suitable for high-altitude or arid regions.

Application Advantages:

  • Water Conservation and Environmental Protection: Without the need for traditional flushing systems, water consumption is significantly reduced, making it particularly suitable for water-scarce areas.
  • Odorless Treatment: Odors produced during microbial decomposition are effectively controlled, improving the user experience.
  • Resource Utilization: Excreta are converted into organic and liquid fertilizers, achieving waste recycling.
  • Mobility: Modular design facilitates transportation and installation, making it suitable for temporary events or remote areas.
