Materials of Mobile Portable Toilets
Common materials for mobile portable toilets include fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), stainless steel, polyethylene or plastic, metal sheets or aluminum alloy, as well as composite or new materials, each with its own characteristics and suitable scenarios.

FRP is composed of glass fibers and resin, offering advantages such as light weight, easy cleaning, and resistance to rust and corrosion. Its smooth surface makes it difficult for dirt to adhere, facilitating convenient cleaning and maintenance, making it suitable for places requiring frequent cleaning. However, FRP has relatively low strength and may be damaged under significant external impact, so it should be protected from severe collisions during use.
Stainless steel boasts excellent impact and corrosion resistance, with a surface that is easy to disinfect, meeting the needs of places with high hygiene requirements. Its robust and durable nature makes it suitable for environments with high foot traffic and frequent use. However, stainless steel has high thermal conductivity, which may cause discomfort in cold environments, and its relatively high cost somewhat limits its widespread application.
Polyethylene and other plastic materials are lightweight, low-cost, and have good sealing properties, effectively preventing odor leakage. Toilets made of these materials are easy to install and move, suitable for temporary projects or those with limited budgets. However, plastic materials have low strength and are prone to damage from external forces, resulting in a relatively short service life.
Metal sheets or aluminum alloy combine lightweight and high-strength characteristics, along with good corrosion resistance. Toilets made of these materials have a stable structure and can withstand significant external forces, making them suitable for long-term use. However, metal materials have poor thermal insulation properties, and internal temperatures may be significantly affected in high or low-temperature environments.
Composite or new materials integrate multiple advantages, offering more customization possibilities. These materials can be designed and adjusted according to specific needs to meet usage requirements in different scenarios. However, composite or new materials have high costs and technical requirements, and have not yet been widely popularized on a large scale.
