Marathon Mobile Toilet Support
Marathon mobile toilet support mainly involves multiple aspects such as quantity allocation, sanitation and cleaning, eco-friendly design, public health maintenance, and scientific distribution.

Quantity Allocation: Different marathon events deploy mobile toilets based on actual conditions. For example, the Dalian Marathon places a large number of portable toilets along the route to ensure sufficient supply and prevent long queues for participants. In the Urumqi Marathon, the urban management department plans to deploy 485 individual mobile toilets along the race route, along with 28 existing public sanitation toilets. The opening hours of toilets near the start and finish lines are extended to meet the needs during the event.
Sanitation and Cleaning: To ensure the hygiene of mobile toilets, dedicated cleaning staff are arranged for continuous or scheduled cleaning. In the Urumqi Marathon, 29 cleaning staff are responsible for the continuous sanitation of individual mobile toilets, while each existing public sanitation toilet is assigned two cleaning staff for half-hourly patrol cleaning. Toilet paper and hand sanitizer are also provided free of charge.
Eco-friendly Design: The mobile toilets for the Beijing Marathon emphasize environmental protection. The design follows the principle of balancing lightweight and durability in materials science. The outer shell is made of fiberglass or polyethylene, the internal support frame is aluminum alloy, the toilet uses a water-saving design, and the sewage treatment module adopts a dual technical approach of biodegradation and chemical neutralization. Recycled materials are prioritized in the manufacturing process, and most components can be sorted and recycled after the event. Some models also feature a water circulation system and are powered by rooftop photovoltaic panels.
Public Health Maintenance: It relies on a dynamic monitoring and real-time response mechanism. Each toilet unit is equipped with a sensor network, and the cleaning team operates based on real-time data. Disinfection is carried out using food-grade hydrogen peroxide spray to ensure public health safety.
Scientific Distribution: In marathon scenarios, the distribution density of toilets at the start, along the race route, and at the finish line is calculated using a crowd flow model. The ventilation system undergoes computational fluid dynamics simulation, and the non-slip floor features a micro-prism texture design to provide a better user experience.
