Maintenance of Prefabricated Container Houses

Admin September 17, 2026

Maintenance of prefabricated container houses requires attention to multiple aspects, including structural inspection, component maintenance, light steel integrated house upkeep, and waterproofing and electrical circuit checks.

Structural Inspection: Regularly organize personnel to inspect and maintain the construction status of temporary buildings. Focus on inspecting the house structure, especially the welds of the load-bearing frame, to ensure they are not cracked. If severe weld corrosion is found, immediately cease use and perform rust removal and re-welding to ensure structural stability and safety.

Component Maintenance: After repairing movable linkages of components, apply anti-rust oil for maintenance to prevent rusting that could affect normal use and connection effectiveness. When components and panels bend or deform, do not ignore them; promptly repair them. If the deformation is severe and cannot be repaired, replace them with new components and panels to ensure the overall performance of the house is not affected. If doors, windows, or their accessories show signs of breakage or damage, repair or replace them promptly to ensure normal opening and closing and use functions, avoiding issues with house sealing and safety due to door and window problems.

Light Steel Integrated House Upkeep: For light steel integrated house structures, regularly perform rust removal and painting on steel materials. Light steel structural components should be painted every 1-2 years. This not only maintains the house's appearance, keeping the movable panel house vibrant in color, but more importantly, effectively prevents steel corrosion and extends the house's service life.

Waterproofing and Electrical Circuit Checks: Regularly inspect the house's waterproofing facilities to ensure they are intact and effective, preventing rainwater leakage from damaging the house's internal structure and contents, while also protecting the house's moisture-proof function. Electrical circuit issues should not be overlooked; regularly inspect circuits to ensure electrical safety and avoid safety accidents such as fires caused by circuit aging or short circuits.
