Main City Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin September 26, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets in the main city should follow the following procedures and key points to ensure safety, compliance, and complete functionality:

I. Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Site Planning
    • Avoid low-lying areas prone to water accumulation, high-voltage power lines, and obstacle-filled zones, ensuring a flat and solid ground. For example, in the old city area of Luoyang, it is necessary to apply for a road occupation permit in advance. In Kaifeng, the width of the toilet access passage should be ≥1.2 meters, with operating space reserved.
    • For special environments (such as rainy seasons, high-temperature or cold regions), plan in advance for rain protection, sunshade, or heating function adaptations.
  2. Material and Tool Inspection
    • Check the quantity, model, and accessories (such as sinks, flushing devices, sewage pipes) of the mobile toilets, ensuring that the equipment has no external damage and the internal facilities are intact.
    • Equip with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and spirit levels, and arrange 2-3 professional personnel. Coordinate with equipment like cranes for assistance in handling when necessary.
  3. Compliance Confirmation
    • If road occupation construction is involved (such as in the old city area of Luoyang), apply for a permit from the relevant department in advance. During events, it is recommended to clean the toilets every 4 hours using neutral detergents to avoid corrosion.

II. On-site Installation Steps

  1. Foundation Fixation
    • Hoist the toilet body to the designated position and adjust the equipment to be level using a spirit level, with a deviation not exceeding 3mm.
    • Fix the equipment using expansion bolts or counterweights to prevent tipping (especially in areas with strong winds).
  2. Water and Electricity Connection
    • Connect the sewage pipe to the nearest sewer or sewage collection tank, ensuring a pipe slope of ≥2%. For the water source, it is recommended to use a water pipe with a diameter ≥DN20 and test the flushing function and drainage sealability.
  3. Detail Adjustment
    • Install accessories such as door curtains and anti-slip mats, and check the flexibility of the door lock and flushing buttons.
    • Clean and disinfect the interior and place consumables such as air fresheners and toilet paper.

III. Post-installation Acceptance

  1. Function Testing
    • Press the flushing button 3 times continuously to confirm that the drainage is unobstructed and there is no blockage.
    • Evenly step on the top of the equipment to check its structural stability.
  2. Delivery Documents
    • Provide the customer with an Equipment Installation Acceptance Form, indicating the installation date, warranty period, and usage instructions.

IV. Safety Regulations

  • High-altitude Work: Safety harnesses must be worn, and installation is prohibited in windy weather with a wind speed ≥5 levels.
  • Fire Prevention Requirements: Keep away from fire sources, and smoking or the use of open-flame equipment inside the toilet is prohibited.
  • Warning Signs: Mark warning signs in the construction area and provide sufficient lighting for night construction.

For large-scale installation projects (such as multi-area construction), additional specialized plans should be formulated, including topographic and hydrological analysis, underground pipeline detection, and traffic diversion measures.
