Macau Mobile Toilet Design
Macau's mobile toilet design centers on modular integration, environmental protection, energy efficiency, and humanization, integrating structural strength, resource recycling, and customized services to form a solution adapted to high-density urban environments. Its design features can be elaborated from the following aspects:

1. Modular Integration and Self-Circulation System
The main body is made of high-density polyethylene or fiberglass-reinforced plastic, integrating the toilet compartment, sewage storage tank, and flushing device into a single shell through a one-step molding process, achieving a combination of lightweight and high strength. The sewage storage tank, located at the bottom of the shell, utilizes gravity for natural solid-liquid separation, enabling preliminary treatment without external power. The flushing system, controlled by foot pedals or sensor valves, uses a mixture of clean water and disinfectant with a single flush volume of only 0.5 to 1.5 liters, significantly reducing water consumption. Gray water from the sink is filtered and returned to the flushing system, forming an internal water circulation loop to further enhance resource utilization.
2. Structural and Material Optimization
The frame is welded as a whole using galvanized pipes, with the top covered by asphalt shingles and sealed with silicone to completely eliminate water leakage. The outer wall of the shell is designed in an arc shape, which not only withstands wind forces up to Level 10 but also reduces the probability of pollutant adhesion by minimizing right-angled surfaces, facilitating cleaning and maintenance. The interior adopts a three-dimensional layered layout: the top integrates a water storage tank and exhaust ducts, the middle section is equipped with toilet compartments and sinks, and the bottom houses a detachable sewage storage tank. The footprint of a single toilet compartment is compressed to less than 0.8 square meters while accommodating accessibility features such as grab bars and emergency call buttons, balancing spatial efficiency and user safety.
3. Flexible Adaptation of Sewage Discharge and Ventilation Systems
Sewage discharge methods support various modes such as water-flush direct discharge and waterless packaging, allowing flexible selection based on site conditions. The ventilation system offers options for natural ventilation, exhaust fans, or perforated direct discharge to ensure air circulation within the toilet. The power supply configuration includes energy-saving lights, concealed wiring, and multiple types of sockets, with some models integrating solar photovoltaic panels to power ventilation fans, lighting, and electrochemical deodorization devices, establishing an independent energy circulation system and reducing reliance on the municipal power grid.
4. Customized Services and Cultural Integration
The design team can provide personalized solutions based on urban development needs, environmental characteristics, and cultural connotations, allowing customization of materials for the roof and floor, such as anti-slip tiles or simulated stone panels, and incorporating local cultural elements into the exterior facade to extend the mobile toilet as part of the urban landscape. This flexibility enables it to meet high-traffic demands in tourist attractions while also being suitable for daily use in residential areas.
