Luzhou has carried out multiple innovations and renovations in smart mobile toilets, enhancing the intelligence, convenience, and humanization of public toilets.
I. Facial Recognition Paper Dispensing Technology
The Environmental Sanitation Office of Luzhou has introduced facial recognition paper dispensing technology, completing renovations in 14 public toilets. Citizens can easily obtain toilet paper by 'face scanning,' avoiding potential hygiene issues associated with traditional paper dispensing methods and reducing paper waste. This technology not only elevates the intelligence level of public toilets but also reflects an eco-friendly concept.
II. Barrier-Free Special Renovations
Luzhou focuses on the needs of special groups, conducting barrier-free special renovations as pilot projects in two public toilets: Ercheng and Danwan Square. The renovations include the installation of electric induction doors, vertical grab bars, and safety handrails, providing a safer and more comfortable toilet environment for wheelchair users, the elderly, and other groups. The installation of these facilities reflects Luzhou's humanized considerations in public toilet design.
III. Intelligent Equipment Upgrades
Luzhou has completed intelligent renovations in 27 public toilets, installing over 140 sensor-activated flushers and over 70 sensor-activated faucets. These devices automatically flush when someone approaches and provide water when hands are extended, effectively eliminating the risk of cross-infection and meeting green energy-saving requirements. The widespread adoption of intelligent equipment not only improves the hygiene level of public toilets but also reduces maintenance costs.
IV. Construction and Application of Smart Public Toilets
Luzhou has put into use a smart public toilet that integrates building concrete 3D printing technology, steel structure modular assembly technology, and digital media technology. The main building, using 3D technology and prefabricated assembly installation, was fully installed in just two days, significantly saving construction time and reducing construction impact. Additionally, the application of six intelligent systems, including water, electricity, and lighting, enables the public toilet to achieve green and low-carbon environmental goals, providing new ideas for urban public toilet construction.
