Luzhou Jiangyang District Container House

Admin September 15, 2026

Luzhou Jiangyang District, represented by Goushu Street, has created a characteristic commercial block featuring container houses. Here are the details:

Basic Overview

Goushu Street is a lane under the jurisdiction of Nancheng Subdistrict in Jiangyang District, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. Located in the old town area, it was originally idle land after the demolition of a shantytown. After renovation, it officially opened in March 2025, becoming Luzhou City's first characteristic commercial block with container buildings as the carrier. The project has a total investment of 15 million yuan and covers an area of 13,600 square meters.

Architectural Features

The block is assembled from 50 containers to form a two-story commercial space, including five groups of container markets. These colorful container-style buildings create an artistic atmosphere favored by young people.

Functional Layout

  • Commercial Formats: With "characteristic catering + emerging consumption" as the core, it has introduced a variety of business formats such as hot pot, barbecue, coffee, light meals, cultural and creative products, and snack wholesale. For example, Lin Jiaxian Hot Pot Canteen attracts many diners due to its unique taste and moderate prices; Snack Youming Wholesale Supermarket has a wide variety of goods on its shelves, attracting many young people to shop.
  • Infrastructure: The project has added 120 to 146 parking spaces and built a fast-charging station for new energy vehicles, effectively alleviating the problem of "difficult parking". At the same time, the historical building of Wangye Temple has been renovated and revitalized for use, protecting the historical building while giving it new functions.

Connection and Impact

The block is connected to the "Old Luzhou·Dahe Street" historical and cultural block and the "Wine Gathering·In Luzhou" characteristic block on Sanxing Street through secondary roads, becoming a node for urban renewal connecting the old town area in Jiangyang District. Since its opening, Goushu Street, which has been reshaped into a "youthful" style, has become the best place for surrounding residents to visit and consume. It is also a new emerging打卡 (a Chinese term meaning a popular place to visit and take photos) spot for young people and a new consumption scene in the old town area, effectively improving the living environment around the project.
