Luoyang Rural Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin October 07, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets in rural areas of Luoyang should be systematically carried out from three aspects: preliminary preparation, installation process, and subsequent maintenance. The specific key points are as follows:

I. Preliminary Preparation

  1. Confirmation of Site Conditions

    • It is necessary to communicate with the site owner in advance to clarify whether the installation location is level. Mobile toilets generally do not require sewer pipes. However, if a model with a flushing function (such as a foam-sealing or water-flushing type) is selected, it is necessary to confirm whether the site has a drainage system to support it. If power supply is required (such as for lighting and ventilation equipment), the location and safety of the power outlet should be checked.
    • The ground should be hardened to prevent the toilet from tilting or being damaged due to settlement after long-term use.
  2. Planning of the Installation Area

    • Determine the number of toilets based on the number of users. Generally, one standard restroom is provided for every 50 people. For special scenarios such as rural activities or gatherings, an additional 10%-20% reserve can be added.
    • The installation location should be away from entrances/exits and fire exits, and space should be reserved for the entry and exit of cleaning vehicles. The distance between toilets should be ≥1.5 meters to ensure ventilation and privacy.
  3. Supplier Selection

    • Prioritize screening qualified rental companies through local enterprise service platforms or search engines, focusing on checking their business licenses, sanitation permits, and past service cases (such as installation experience in rural scenarios).
    • Choose service providers that offer customized solutions. They can recommend toilets of appropriate specifications (such as single-room models, models with sinks, or barrier-free models) according to the rural site conditions (such as terrain and climate).

II. Installation Process

  1. Basic Positioning and Fixing

    • Place the toilet body at the designated location, adjust it to be level, and then fix it to the ground with expansion screws to prevent displacement. For outdoor installations, it is recommended to use a wind-resistant base to enhance stability.
  2. Drainage and Power Supply Connection (if required)

    • Toilets with a flushing function need to be connected to drainage pipes. Ensure that the drainage slope is reasonable and there is no blockage. If an external power supply is required, a professional electrician should check the wiring to avoid the risk of electric leakage.
  3. Facility Inspection and Debugging

    • After installation, check whether the doors, locks, and flushing buttons are flexible and whether the water level in the tank is sufficient. Test whether the drainage system is unobstructed and confirm that there are no water leakage or electric leakage problems. Equip the toilets with anti-slip mats, lighting, and emergency handrails to meet barrier-free use standards.

III. Subsequent Maintenance Points

  1. Daily Cleaning: Clean at least once a day and disinfect regularly (such as 2-3 times a week), focusing on cleaning the toilet bowls, sinks, and floors.
  2. Equipment Inspection: Regularly check the water and power connections to ensure that the flushing system is working properly. During the rainy season, dredge the drainage facilities to prevent the toilets from being soaked and damaged.
  3. Confirmation of Rental Terms: Before renting, clarify the contents of additional services (such as transportation, installation, cleaning, maintenance, and emergency handling) to avoid additional costs.
