Liuzhou Cement Prefabricated Houses
Liuzhou cement prefabricated houses mainly include two types: Liuzhou cement mobile houses and Huacheng cement houses, each with its own characteristics. Moreover, prefabricated houses have certain disadvantages in seismic performance compared to cast-in-place houses.

Types and Characteristics of Liuzhou Cement Prefabricated Houses
- Liuzhou Cement Mobile Houses: Professionally built by Liuzhou Yiju Mobile Panel House Co., Ltd., these houses are suitable for construction site offices, migrant worker dormitories, flat-roofed additions, warehouses, etc. Their load-bearing system is a steel-structured mobile panel house, which is safe and reliable. The walls are made of double-layer steel wire mesh, lightweight insulation materials, and high-grade cement prefabricated composite panels, featuring insulation, heat insulation, lightweight, and high strength.
- Huacheng Cement Houses: Specializing in the production and customization of assembled cement houses and prefabricated cement houses, etc. The entire process adopts high-standard reinforced concrete for one-time pouring and forming, resulting in a dense and sturdy overall structure. They possess multiple excellent properties such as seismic and compressive resistance, fire and flame retardancy, thermal insulation and energy efficiency, wind and moisture resistance, corrosion and weathering resistance. The construction and installation are fast and efficient, with a short construction period and quick learning curve. They are not restricted by seasons or weather conditions and can be constructed throughout the year. The designed service life of the houses is over 70 years, with simple maintenance and support for overall relocation and secondary disassembly and reuse. They can be used to build various structures such as office buildings and small hotels and are widely applicable to various scenarios such as rural dilapidated house renovations and rural self-built housing. They come in a complete range of specifications and diverse styles and can be customized according to the site size and usage requirements.
Seismic Performance of Prefabricated Houses
The modules of modular "prefabricated houses" do not have durability issues themselves, but the key technology lies in the assembly connection. Compared to cast-in-place houses, their seismic performance is slightly inferior. They can meet the requirements in non-seismic zones but should not be built with too many floors; otherwise, it is difficult to meet the seismic design requirements of building structures. For example, on the early morning of May 18, 2026, a magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck Liuzhou, Guangxi. Some houses with prefabricated panels in the area collapsed, while the fully cast-in-place houses remained intact. This is because there are gaps between the prefabricated panels, which are connected by grouting, resulting in poor integrity. During an earthquake, the floor panels sway left and right, the gaps widen, and finally, the entire panel falls off, causing the house to collapse suddenly. In contrast, the entire floor slab, beams, and columns of a cast-in-place house are integrated. When an earthquake occurs, the house bears the force and deforms together, dispersing the energy and making it less likely to collapse locally.
