Liunan District Container House
There are situations related to container houses in Liunan District, mainly involving the investigation and handling of illegal occupation of farmland for stacking containers.

Event Details
In March this year, the Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau of Liunan District received a report from the district's land department that someone was occupying farmland outside the Ruilong Road Haijixing Market to stack a large number of containers and had also erected steel-frame sheds, suspected of illegal construction. Law enforcement officers went to the scene for investigation and found that on the open space dozens of meters away from the north gate of the Ruilong Road Haijixing Market, there were two newly erected steel-frame sheds. The largest one had an area of 232.7 square meters. A total of 30 containers were stacked in multiple places, and some containers had rain shelters installed in front of them. After investigation, it was found that these steel-frame sheds and containers were erected by five local villagers, namely Liu, Wei, Qin, etc. They intended to make profits by renting them out in this way.
Illegal Determination and Handling
Since the parties involved had not gone through the relevant legal procedures for erecting the steel-frame sheds and placing the containers, which violated the relevant urban management regulations, law enforcement officers issued legal documents such as the Notice of Order to Stop Illegal Acts and the Notice of Self-demolition of Illegal Construction. After that, although the parties stopped further construction, they did not come to the urban management department for investigation and handling, nor did they demolish the steel-frame sheds or move away the containers on their own. On October 19, the Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau of Liunan District, in conjunction with the Sun Town Government and other departments, carried out demolition and lifting operations on the steel-frame sheds and containers. After the government departments lifted several containers, seeing that the government was serious, the parties immediately took the initiative to propose to lift the remaining containers on their own. Considering humane law enforcement, the urban management department agreed, and the parties signed a commitment letter to lift all the remaining containers within a time limit.
