Linxia Vehicle-mounted Mobile Toilet Installation
The installation of vehicle-mounted mobile toilets in Linxia requires combining the installation logic of ordinary mobile toilets with vehicle adaptation requirements. The specific process can be divided into three stages: basic preparation, module assembly, and vehicle adaptation, with the core being to ensure structural stability, interface compatibility, and driving safety.

I. Basic Preparation Stage
Site and Vehicle Inspection:
- Confirm that the ground where the vehicle is parked is level, with a slope of less than 5 degrees, to avoid uneven stress on the toilet module due to terrain inclination. If the vehicle chassis needs to directly bear the load, check whether its load-bearing capacity meets the weight of the toilet module (usually, the module weight ranges from 200-500 kg depending on the material).
- Inspect the interface positions and specifications of the vehicle's sewage discharge system (such as the fecal storage tank and discharge port) and water supply system (water tank and water pump) to ensure they match the sewage discharge pipe (usually with a diameter of 100-150 mm) and water supply pipe (with a diameter of 25-50 mm) of the toilet module.
Tool and Material Preparation:
- General tools: electric wrench, level, sealant gun, clamp pliers, etc.
- Special materials: galvanized bolts (specifications M8-M12), shock-absorbing rubber pads (thickness 5-10 mm), quick-connect sewage discharge joints (such as PVC or stainless steel materials), hoses (with a pressure resistance rating of ≥0.6 MPa).
II. Module Assembly Stage
Frame Installation:
- According to the modular design of the Linxia mobile toilet, fix the base welded with lightweight steel to the vehicle chassis using galvanized bolts. The connection points use male and female tenons with pins for locking, allowing an angle adjustment of ±3 degrees to adapt to slight deformations of the vehicle chassis.
- Install the wall panels (left, right, and front) in sequence by embedding them into the frame through slots and tightening the screws. Ensure that the sealing strips (with a thickness of 3-5 mm) completely cover the seams to prevent leakage.
- When installing the top components, fill waterproof foam strips in the slots, then cover the top cover and fix the ventilation louvers (with a recommended ventilation volume of ≥50 m³/h).
Equipment Connection:
- Connect the internal equipment (such as stainless steel squat toilets and plastic water tanks) to the frame through standardized interfaces. Connect the sewage discharge pipe to the vehicle's fecal storage tank using a quick-connect joint and tighten it with a stainless steel clamp.
- Connect the water supply pipe between the vehicle's water tank and the toilet's flushing system. Wrap Teflon tape (3-5 turns) at the interface and test the water pressure (recommended 0.2-0.4 MPa).
- Connect the mechanical exhaust device to the roof ventilation pipe using a hose. The hose length should have a reserve of 5-10 cm to buffer vibrations.
III. Vehicle Adaptation Stage
Fixing and Shock Absorption:
- Install shock-absorbing rubber pads between the toilet module and the vehicle chassis to reduce the impact of vibrations on the module structure during driving.
- Use special brackets (such as L-shaped angle steel) to weld or bolt-fix the four corners of the module to the vehicle chassis, ensuring that the module displacement during driving is ≤5 mm.
Interface Testing and Adjustment:
- Start the vehicle engine and test whether the sewage discharge system leaks due to vibrations (observe whether there is liquid leakage at the interfaces).
- Simulate a flushing scenario and check whether the water supply pipe detaches or breaks due to water pressure fluctuations.
- Adjust the angle of the ventilation louvers to ensure that external air can smoothly enter the toilet interior during driving (recommended angle of 15-30 degrees).
Precautions: If you lack exclusive installation experience for vehicle-mounted mobile toilets, it is recommended to contact local rental service providers in Linxia (such as Shanghai Changjiu Industrial Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Xuhu Industrial Co., Ltd.) to obtain vehicle model adaptation plans and avoid safety hazards caused by self-modification.
