Lijiang Water-saving Mobile Toilet

Admin September 22, 2026

There are mainly three types of water-saving mobile toilets in Lijiang: water-flushing, waterless-packing, and foam-sealing types.

Water-flushing mobile toilets: The working principle of these toilets is similar to that of traditional toilets, requiring connection to the municipal water supply network or being equipped with their own water storage tanks and sewage collection tanks. The key to water conservation lies in the use of water-saving sanitary ware, such as high-pressure air flushing and vacuum suction technologies. High-pressure air flushing uses high-pressure gas to flush away waste, significantly reducing water consumption compared to traditional water flushing methods. Vacuum suction, on the other hand, generates negative pressure through a vacuum device to quickly suck away waste, also achieving the goal of water conservation. In addition, the design of the sewage collection tank is also crucial. It features anti-seepage, odor-proof, and convenient cleaning characteristics. The anti-seepage design prevents sewage leakage from polluting the environment; the odor-proof design effectively blocks the emission of unpleasant odors, enhancing the user experience; and the convenient cleaning design facilitates timely cleaning of waste in the sewage collection tank by staff, ensuring the normal operation of the toilet.

Waterless-packing mobile toilets: These toilets use mechanical devices to automatically pack and seal waste with biodegradable films. This method completely isolates odors, preventing them from spreading and affecting the surrounding environment. Moreover, since the entire process does not require water, it is highly suitable for extremely water-scarce situations, such as some arid regions or tourist attractions with limited water resources. Later, the packed waste only needs to be disposed of in a centralized manner, making it both environmentally friendly and water-saving.

Foam-sealing mobile toilets: This type of toilet uses foam generated by foaming liquid to cover the toilet bowl, replacing water for sealing. The foam has good sealing properties, effectively blocking odors and preventing them from emanating from the toilet bowl. At the same time, compared to traditional water-flushing toilets, foam-sealing mobile toilets significantly reduce water consumption because only a small amount of foaming liquid is needed to generate enough foam to meet sealing requirements, offering a clear advantage in water conservation.
