Light Structure Container House

Admin September 15, 2026

A light structure container house takes a container as its basic structural unit and is formed into a prefabricated building with multiple functions and flexible mobility through modular design and industrial production. The following is an introduction from the aspects of design principles, structural characteristics, performance advantages, and application scenarios:

Design principles: The rigid structure of traditional containers is transformed in a light structure container house, integrating functions such as living and office work, as well as aesthetic elements. It usually adopts a curved or rounded exterior design to enhance visual appeal and optimize wind resistance and drainage performance. With a steel frame as the skeleton, the interior and exterior wall panels are made of thermal insulation materials. Windows, doors, and interfaces for water and electricity pipelines are reserved. All components are prefabricated in the factory and can be used after on-site hoisting and simple connections.

Structural characteristics: The main structure often uses a steel frame combined with flame-retardant rock wool sandwich panels, integrating thermal insulation, fire prevention, sound insulation, and waterproofing. Some products adopt a full-steel structural frame with high weld strength to ensure the overall wind and earthquake resistance of the structure. There are also products that use a semi-welded and semi-bolted connection structure, but the probability of bolt loosening is slightly higher after long-term turnover and use.

Performance advantages: The construction period is significantly shorter than that of traditional methods. It can also be repeatedly disassembled and relocated to different places, greatly reducing construction waste, dust, and noise pollution. Under extreme working conditions, such as coastal typhoons of force 12 and high-intensity earthquakes of magnitude 8, compliant products have a low deformation rate of the core frame and good wind and earthquake resistance. Moreover, it supports multiple disassembly and reuse cycles. Under the conditions of standardized use and regular maintenance, the average number of disassembly and reuse cycles of leading compliant products can reach more than 8 times. Compared with traditional fixed temporary buildings, the amount of construction waste can be reduced by about 90%, and resource utilization is higher.

Application scenarios: It has a wide range of applicability. In natural environments such as seashores, mountains, and lakesides, it can serve as accommodation units for guesthouses and camping bases. At fishing grounds, scenic spot entrances, and other locations, it can be used as temporary rest or service facilities. It can also be used in diverse scenarios such as engineering camps, mobile businesses, cultural and tourism accommodations, and emergency support. Users can flexibly adjust the layout or reuse it at different locations according to their business needs.
