Light Steel Prefabricated Assembled Housing
Light steel prefabricated assembled housing is a building system that uses light steel keels as its core material and is assembled on-site from factory-prefabricated components. Its core material is light steel keels synthesized from hot-dip galvanized aluminum-zinc steel strips through cold rolling. The galvanized aluminum-zinc steel plate is formed into a quaternary crystal structure by curing at 600℃ with 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon, providing a corrosion-resistant barrier.

In terms of safety performance, the main structure of light steel prefabricated assembled housing can withstand earthquakes up to magnitude 9 and winds up to level 12. Its self-weight is only 1/5 to 1/8 of that of traditional structures. During an earthquake, due to its light weight, the seismic force it experiences is relatively small, making it safer and effectively reducing earthquake damage to the house and protecting the lives of occupants.
In terms of economy, this building system has significant advantages. The construction period is shortened by 50% compared to traditional buildings, meaning it can be put into use faster and reducing time costs. The material wastage rate is reduced to 3%, minimizing material waste. The overall construction cost is 15%-20% lower than that of brick-and-mortar structures, saving a considerable amount of money for the construction party.
Its environmental protection and energy-saving features are prominent. The exterior walls are filled with glass fiber wool for thermal insulation, reducing the loss of indoor heat and the influx of external heat, thereby lowering energy consumption. The accompanying breathable membrane can regulate humidity, maintaining appropriate indoor air humidity. Energy efficiency is improved by 40%, and 92% of the materials are recyclable, aligning with the concept of sustainable development and reducing environmental pollution.
The construction process adopts standardized and modular techniques, guided by BIM computer modeling throughout, with precision up to the millimeter level. The construction process mainly consists of four steps: laying the foundation, installing the walls, building the roof, and carrying out interior decoration. The construction process is clear, facilitating management and operation.
It has a wide range of application scenarios, covering rural housing, tourist resorts, overseas projects, etc. Moreover, 28 provinces across the country have introduced subsidy policies for prefabricated buildings, promoting the development of the light steel prefabricated assembled housing industry. In addition, exterior wall decorations can choose materials such as metal carved panels and cement fiber hanging panels, and the roofing system supports the integration of photovoltaic tiles, meeting the different needs of users for the appearance and functionality of the house.
