Lichuan Mobile Toilets

Admin October 05, 2026

The construction and management of mobile toilets in Lichuan City are as follows:

I. Construction Quantity and Types As of now, there are 50 urban public toilets in Lichuan City, including 2 mobile public toilets. In March 2025, the City Appearance and Environmental Sanitation Service Center replaced the mobile toilets on the tourism road to further optimize facility configurations. In terms of procurement, a mobile house-type trailer toilet project was implemented, involving the purchase of two house-type trailer toilets with "4 toilet stalls + 1 management room" at a budget of 516,000 yuan, reflecting the investment in hardware facilities for mobile toilets.

II. Distribution Characteristics The layout of mobile toilets covers urban areas, scenic spots, and streets and alleys, forming a multi-level service network. For example, there are 7 public toilets on Binjiang North Road and 6 in Guanshan Forest Park, catering to both the daily needs of residents and the convenience of tourist-concentrated areas. This distribution model effectively shortens the service radius and improves the accessibility of public services.

III. Humanized Design Some mobile public toilets incorporate barrier-free design concepts, adding facilities such as barrier-free toilets, third toilets, and mother-and-child toilets. The barrier-free toilets are equipped with handrails, non-slip floors, and other auxiliary devices to facilitate use by disabled individuals; the third toilets meet the privacy needs of families or special groups; and the mother-and-child toilets provide baby changing tables and safety seats, reflecting attention to the rights and interests of women and children.

IV. Management Mechanism All urban public toilets implement a free admission policy, with Class I toilets open 24 hours a day and Class II toilets open from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM daily. The management adopts a "fixed personnel + seamless connection" model, with each public toilet equipped with dedicated management personnel responsible for daily cleaning, equipment maintenance, and order management to ensure cleanliness and hygiene both inside and outside. Additionally, regular inspections and immediate repair mechanisms ensure the normal operation of facilities.

V. Functional Upgrades The replacement of mobile toilets on the tourism road in 2025 may involve technological iterations or service optimizations, such as adopting more environmentally friendly sewage treatment systems and adding intelligent monitoring equipment (e.g., pedestrian counting and air quality detection) to meet the high-frequency usage demands during the tourism peak season and enhance the user experience.
