Licheng District Mobile Toilets

Admin September 24, 2026

Licheng District has set up various types of mobile toilets during the peak tourist season to meet the needs of residents and visitors.

In the ancient city of Licheng District, mobile toilet buses have been installed at specific locations, including Quanzhou Film Theater, Zhongmin Baihui Xinhua Store, Chengtian Lane Entrance, and Tianhou Palace. These mobile toilet buses are indistinguishable from ordinary buses in appearance, but the words 'Mobile Toilet' are prominently printed on the body for easy identification. The interior is well-equipped, including sinks, washbasins, mirrors, push-type hand sanitizer dispensers, and hand dryers, providing convenience for users. There are men's and women's restrooms on both sides of the bus, with the women's restroom having 6 individual stalls and the men's restroom equipped with 2 individual stalls and 4 urinals. Additionally, an exhaust system and a temperature control system have been installed to ensure fresh air and a comfortable temperature inside the restroom, while grab bars are provided for the convenience of special groups.

In addition to mobile toilet buses, Licheng District has also installed one mobile toilet vehicle each at West Street Film Theater, Kaiyuan Temple West Gate, Chengtian Lane Entrance, Old People's Hospital, and Tianhou Palace. These mobile toilet vehicles serve as a supplement to fixed public toilets, further expanding the coverage of restroom facilities and providing more options for residents and visitors.

Furthermore, Licheng District has taken other measures to alleviate restroom pressure during the peak tourist season. For example, the internal restrooms of 24 government agencies, enterprises, and public institutions in the ancient city have been opened for use by residents and visitors. At the same time, some temporary toilets with one seat per unit have been set up. Although these temporary toilets are relatively small in scale, they are widely distributed and can provide nearby services for residents and visitors, effectively alleviating the problem of difficulty in finding restrooms.

Through the installation of mobile toilet buses, mobile toilet vehicles, as well as the opening of internal restrooms in government agencies, enterprises, and public institutions, and the setting up of temporary toilets, Licheng District has effectively responded to restroom needs during the peak tourist season, providing a more convenient and comfortable restroom environment for residents and visitors.
