Lianyungang Container House Installation
Admin September 17, 2026
The installation of container houses in Lianyungang should follow the following steps and precautions:

I. Pre-installation Preparations
- Material Inventory: Based on the design drawings and on-site conditions, accurately calculate the specifications and quantities of materials such as steel, wood, and insulation materials required to avoid affecting construction progress due to material shortages or redundancies.
- Staffing: Form a professional team, including operators with container assembly skills and porters, to ensure that all members are familiar with the installation process and safety regulations.
- Equipment Preparation: Equip mechanical equipment such as cranes and trolleys for the lifting and transportation of containers, improving construction efficiency and reducing human risks.
II. Key Points for Foundation Treatment
- Foundation Type Selection: Prioritize the use of non-soil foundations such as concrete and asphalt to avoid structural deformation of the house due to foundation settlement.
- Surface Leveling: Conduct filling and compaction operations according to design requirements to ensure that the horizontal error of the foundation surface does not exceed the allowable range (usually ≤5mm/m).
- Waterproof Isolation Layer Design: Lay waterproof materials such as breathable films to block the penetration of underground moisture and extend the service life of container houses.
III. Container Assembly Specifications
- Bottom Leveling and Connection: Check the flatness of the bottom of each container and use steel plates to reinforce the connection parts between adjacent containers to ensure structural integrity.
- Core Axis Alignment: Check the deviation between the core axis of the container and the design drawings using tools such as laser measuring instruments, and adjust it to within the allowable error range (usually ≤3mm) if necessary.
- Support Installation: Install steel supports at key nodes of the container to enhance wind and earthquake resistance, paying special attention to reinforcement at corners and connections.
- Safety Facility Configuration: Erect safety supports, protective nets, and protective panels to prevent falling objects and personnel falls, ensuring construction safety.
IV. Internal Space Optimization
- Moisture-proof Treatment: Apply moisture-proof coatings or lay moisture-proof films on the inner walls of the container to reduce damage to items caused by condensation on steel.
- Space Layout Planning: Divide areas according to functional requirements and adopt foldable furniture or embedded designs to maximize the use of limited space.
- Ventilation Equipment Installation: Install exhaust fans or fresh air systems to maintain air circulation and avoid excessive humidity or odor accumulation due to a closed environment.
V. Key Installation Precautions
Ground flatness is fundamental: If the ground is tilted or uneven, it needs to be adjusted with a cushion or the foundation needs to be re-poured. Otherwise, it may lead to stress concentration in the house structure, causing cracks or deformation.
