Public Toilet Upgrade and Renovation: Leping Town has made significant investments in the construction and renovation of public toilets. Taking the public toilet at Leping Cultural Square as an example, approximately 500,000 yuan was invested in June this year for a comprehensive upgrade and renovation in accordance with national second-class public toilet standards, and it was officially put into use in late August. This public toilet showcases a unique design that blends classical and modern elements, with an overall layout that is well-organized. The wall design incorporates large areas of frosted glass windows, which not only increase natural lighting but also enhance aesthetics. The lighting design is exquisite, creating a comfortable toilet environment. In terms of layout, a reasonable model of 'men's toilet + women's toilet + third toilet' is adopted, fully considering the needs of different groups of people. Regarding supporting facilities, intelligence and humanization are achieved. The proportion of women's toilet stalls has increased, and the ratio of men's to women's squatting positions has been raised to 1:3, effectively alleviating the problem of women queuing for toilets.
Rural Toilet Conditions: A survey conducted by the Green Action Sanshui Team from South China Agricultural University on 10 villages in Leping Town and Lubao Town revealed that there are certain differences in the sanitary conditions and facility maintenance of rural toilets in various villages of Leping Town. Most villages have toilets that perform well, with clean and tidy interiors, no odors, complete facilities that are well-maintained, and guaranteed privacy, providing villagers with a relatively comfortable toilet environment. However, there are still a small number of villages where toilets require strengthened management and maintenance, possibly facing issues such as poor sanitary conditions and damaged facilities, which require further attention and improvement from relevant departments.
Mobile Toilet Production: There are booth customization and wholesale manufacturers in Leping, Jingdezhen, capable of producing finished mobile toilets. These mobile toilets can be customized according to different needs and scenarios, providing Leping Town with more choices and flexibility in public toilet construction and meeting the toilet needs of some temporary or special venues. In addition, Leping Town Nanbian Primary School has also carried out a toilet upgrade and renovation project, further improving the sanitary facilities on campus.
