Structural Diagram of Large-Span Prefabricated Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

Currently, there is no directly available complete structural diagram of large-span prefabricated houses, but some structural key points can be inferred from relevant cases.

Steel Structure Framework

Large-span prefabricated houses typically use steel structures as their main supporting framework. Steel structures offer advantages such as high strength, light weight, and fast construction speed, enabling them to meet the requirements of large-span spaces. During installation, foundation construction is carried out first to ensure the stability of the foundation. Then, steel columns, steel beams, and other components are hoisted and connected according to design requirements. Connection methods generally include high-strength bolt connections or welding to ensure the integrity and stability of the structure. For example, in the case of steel-structured villas built by farmers themselves, the installation of the steel structure framework is a fundamental step in the entire house construction process, providing a solid foundation for subsequent construction.

Floor Construction

The floor may be constructed by binding a steel mesh to profiled steel sheets and then pouring concrete. Profiled steel sheets can serve as formwork, bearing loads during the construction process. After working together with the concrete, they become part of the floor structure, enhancing the load-bearing capacity of the floor. The steel mesh strengthens the tensile properties of the concrete, preventing cracks from appearing on the floor. This construction method combines the advantages of steel and concrete, ensuring both the strength of the floor and improving construction efficiency.

Exterior Wall Construction

The exterior walls may use prefabricated insulated walls produced in factories. Prefabricated insulated walls are manufactured in a standardized manner in factories, ensuring the quality and performance of the walls. Insulation materials such as polystyrene boards and rock wool boards are usually installed inside the walls to improve the thermal insulation performance of the house. At the same time, prefabricated insulated walls can also be decorated according to design requirements, making the appearance of the house more aesthetically pleasing. On the construction site, it is only necessary to install and connect the prefabricated insulated walls, greatly shortening the construction period.

Roof Construction

The roof may use lightweight roofing materials such as color-coated steel sheets and composite panels. These materials have advantages such as light weight, good waterproof performance, and convenient construction. The roof drainage system also needs to be reasonably designed to ensure that rainwater can be smoothly discharged and prevent damage to the house caused by water accumulation on the roof.
