Functions of Large Mobile Toilets

Admin September 23, 2026

Large mobile toilets have diverse functions, covering aspects such as waste treatment, odor control, structural deployment, waste recycling, environmental adaptability, and customized design.

  1. Instant Collection and Sealed Storage of Excreta
Excrement is directed into a sealed waste storage tank through gravity or vacuum suction. The tank features a double-layer anti-corrosion coating and a leak-proof valve to ensure no odors or liquid spillage during transportation and use. The tank capacity is designed according to the scale of the event, capable of accommodating hundreds of uses. The inner walls are made of hydrophobic materials to reduce solid adhesion and simplify cleaning.

  2. Combined Chemical and Physical Odor Control
Biological enzyme degradants are pre-injected into the waste storage tank to break down urea in urine and proteins in feces, reducing ammonia production. An activated carbon filtration unit is installed on top to adsorb odor molecules through a negative pressure fan. Some units are equipped with UV lamps to periodically disinfect microorganisms inside the tank, preventing excessive bacterial growth and foul odors.

  3. Modular Structure and Rapid Deployment
Standard modules are integrally formed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is lightweight and impact-resistant. Forklift slots are provided at the bottom for quick unloading and immediate use with specialized transport vehicles. The connecting components are designed as snap-fit connections, allowing multi-unit assembly without tools. Two hundred restrooms can be deployed on-site within four hours and quickly removed after the event.

  4. Closed-Loop Waste Recycling Path
After the event, a vacuum truck extracts the contents of the waste storage tank and transports them to a centralized treatment station. The waste undergoes solid-liquid separation, with the liquid entering a sewage treatment system and the solids being converted into organic fertilizer through high-temperature anaerobic fermentation. The entire process generates no secondary pollution and uses less than 1% of the water required by traditional flush toilets.

  5. Environmental Adaptability
In winter, the equipment is wrapped in insulation materials, and electric heating tapes are installed at the bottom of the tank to maintain an internal temperature above 5°C. In summer, top ventilation louvers and forced exhaust systems reduce the internal temperature, preventing condensation buildup. The restrooms feature stainless steel floor drains and non-slip floors to prevent bacterial growth in humid environments.

  6. Customized Features
The overall frame is welded from 10*10 thickened silver-plated square steel, ensuring durability. The exterior walls are made of dark wood-grain metal carved panels, providing both thermal insulation and corrosion resistance. The urinal and squatting areas are independently designed to avoid interference and enhance the user experience.
