Installation of Mobile Toilets at Lanzhou Square

Admin September 27, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets at Lanzhou Square typically follows a simple and efficient process, with core steps including positioning, assembly, connection, and functional inspection and debugging, as detailed below:

1. Positioning
Determine the installation location based on the site planning and ground conditions of Lanzhou Square, ensuring a solid ground and smooth drainage. If the ground has slopes or soft foundations, leveling or reinforcement should be carried out in advance to prevent toilet tilting or damage due to unstable foundations. During the positioning phase, consider the flow direction and convenience of the user population, such as being close to public activity areas or entrances and exits, while reserving sufficient operating space for subsequent maintenance.

2. Assembly

  • Modular Mobile Toilets:
    • Chassis Installation: Use a forklift or manual labor to place the prefabricated steel structure chassis steadily at the predetermined location, adjusting it to a level state with a spirit level to ensure stability.
    • Wall Assembly: Insert the sandwich panels or metal carved panel walls sequentially into the chassis slots, securing them with bolts or clips; after installing the roof panels, perform sealing treatment (such as applying waterproof glue or installing sealing strips) to prevent rainwater leakage. Wall assembly typically takes 1-2 hours.
    • Internal Equipment Installation: Include partitions, toilets, flushing systems, sinks (optional), lighting, and ventilation equipment. The connection of water and electrical pipelines adopts a modular quick-connector design, significantly shortening installation time.
  • Integrated Mobile Toilets (Box-Type Toilets):
The factory has completed interior decoration and equipment integration. On-site, simply use a crane to hoist the entire unit to the designated location and connect the water, electricity, and sewage pipelines, reducing installation time to 2-4 hours.

3. Connection

  • Water and Electricity Connection: Connect to municipal water supply or temporary water tanks, with electrical circuits complying with safety regulations (such as grounding protection and leakage switches).
  • Sewage Pipeline Connection: If connecting to municipal sewage networks or dedicated septic tanks, ensure reasonable pipeline slopes and sealed joints; for flush-free or biodegradable toilets, this step can be omitted, with excreta directly processed through collection tanks.
  • Extending Factors: The complexity of sewage pipelines, distance to septic tanks, and ground excavation requirements may extend installation time.

4. Functional Inspection and Debugging

  • Flush Testing: Check the flushing force of the toilet and the water replenishment function of the tank to ensure no blockages or leaks.
  • Circuit Inspection: Test whether lighting, ventilation equipment, and sockets are functioning properly, troubleshooting short circuits or poor contact issues.
  • Sealing Inspection: Focus on inspecting the roof, doors, windows, and pipeline joints to prevent rainwater or odor leakage.

Design Principles and Standards
Mobile toilets should adhere to the principles of being lightweight, durable, and easily movable, with materials such as hot-dip galvanized steel structures, aluminum alloy doors, and PVC ceilings selected for their strength and corrosion resistance. The installation process should comply with the "Hygiene Standards for Mobile Toilets" (GB/T 21239-2023), ensuring structural safety, hygiene standards, and environmental protection requirements.
