Construction of Mobile Environmental Toilets in Lanzhou

Admin October 01, 2026

The construction of mobile environmental toilets in Lanzhou encompasses six core aspects: modular design, prefabricated structure, water supply and drainage system, air circulation system, environmental adaptability design, and intelligent management system.

Modular design serves as the foundation of construction. Functional modules such as the basic framework, sanitary fixtures, and sewage systems are prefabricated in factories and then rapidly assembled on-site using standardized interfaces. The entire assembly can be completed within eight hours, requiring only ground leveling before construction can commence, significantly shortening the construction cycle.

The prefabricated structure employs a combination of high-strength aluminum alloy buckles and waterproof seals, providing dual protection of rigid connections and flexible sealing. Connection points are secured with hexagonal bolts and self-locking nuts, capable of withstanding wind loads up to force seven. Wall panels feature a honeycomb aluminum sandwich structure filled with polyurethane foam, offering both thermal insulation and soundproofing to ensure structural stability and user comfort.

The water supply and drainage system adheres to a self-sustaining concept. The water supply unit consists of a water storage tank, pressure pump, and UV disinfection device, with an internal water level sensor automatically controlling the refill cycle. The drainage system utilizes vacuum collection technology, with sewage pipes only one-third the diameter of traditional pipes, achieving water-saving flushing through negative pressure suction. Waste enters a sealed treatment chamber where it undergoes biological degradation and solid-liquid separation, converting into reclaimed water and organic fertilizer for resource recycling.

The air circulation system achieves air exchange through a combination of negative pressure extraction and natural ventilation. Low-noise roof exhaust fans update indoor air at a rate of fifteen times per hour, while sidewall concealed vents feature a labyrinth structure to prevent odor backflow. During off-peak hours, solar-powered ventilation fans maintain basic airflow, keeping internal ammonia levels consistently below 0.3 milligrams per cubic meter to ensure air quality.

Environmental adaptability design is reflected in temperature regulation and corrosion resistance. Walls utilize phase change energy storage materials that absorb coolness at night and release it during the day to balance indoor temperature fluctuations. All metal components undergo anodizing and powder coating for dual corrosion protection, operating normally within an environmental temperature range of -20°C to 45°C, adapting to the climatic characteristics of the Lanzhou region.

The intelligent management system tracks toilet usage through infrared sensors, generating frequency curves to assist with cleaning and maintenance. The lighting system employs human induction and light sensing for联动 control (coordinated control), automatically switching to low-power mode when unoccupied. Daily energy consumption is controlled below 3 kilowatt-hours, with water usage reduced by approximately 60% compared to traditional toilets, achieving efficient and energy-saving management.
