Lanzhou Mobile Bus Toilet
The Lanzhou mobile bus toilet is an emergency public toilet facility launched by the Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Area to alleviate the demand for toilets among tourists during the peak tourist season. The following is an introduction from three aspects: facility configuration, launch background, and launch effects.

In terms of facility configuration: The first mobile bus toilet in Lanzhou City has been put into use at Yunfeng Square. Its interior design fully considers the user experience of tourists. There are a total of 8 independent toilets, all equipped with sensor-activated flushing, which is both convenient and hygienic. Curtains are installed at all windows, providing tourists with strong privacy. An air conditioner is also installed inside to provide a comfortable toilet environment for tourists in hot weather; a storage rack facilitates tourists in placing their personal belongings; safety handrails provide safety protection for tourists in need. The independent washbasin is spotless and equipped with hand soap and tissue paper to meet tourists' cleaning needs after washing their hands.
In terms of launch background: Summer is the peak tourist season in Lanzhou. The Centennial Zhongshan Bridge, as a popular tourist attraction, attracts a large number of tourists. However, the problem of difficulty in finding toilets due to the large number of tourists has become increasingly prominent. To solve this problem, the Lanzhou Yellow River Scenic Area has successively launched mobile toilets near the Zhongshan Bridge, with the mobile bus toilet being one of the types. By increasing the number of mobile toilets, it can effectively cope with the surge in demand for toilets among tourists during the peak tourist season and enhance the tourist experience.
In terms of launch effects: The launch of the mobile bus toilet has achieved remarkable results. In addition to the mobile bus toilet, a total of 10 new public toilets have been added north and south of the Zhongshan Bridge, increasing the number of toilet stalls by 60. These measures have effectively alleviated the phenomenon of long queues for toilets around the Zhongshan Bridge, reduced tourists' waiting time, and improved tourist satisfaction. As a flexible and convenient emergency public toilet facility, the mobile bus toilet has played an important role during the peak tourist season and contributed to the improvement of tourism service quality in Lanzhou.
