Kunming Mobile Toilet Decoration Requirements

Admin September 28, 2026

The decoration of mobile toilets in Kunming requires comprehensive design from aspects such as walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and signage, with specific requirements as follows:

Wall design should balance structural strength and functionality. The exterior wall height is uniformly set at 3 meters, using metal carved panels with panel connection gaps controlled within 2mm. The interior is filled with 16mm-thick thermal insulation materials (such as foamed polyurethane or composite insulation layers) to ensure thermal insulation performance. A 50mm-thick thermal insulation rock wool layer is added in the middle of the wall to further enhance energy efficiency. The interior wall has a clear height of 3 meters and is made of 12mm-thick aluminum or stainless steel integrated panels, providing both thermal insulation and moisture resistance. The door is an aluminum alloy double-leaf swing door, 1.9 meters wide and 2.2 meters high, with double-layer tempered glass on the upper part (transparent and privacy-preserving) and double-layer matte stainless steel or aluminum alloy on the lower part (lined with bamboo plywood to prevent deformation), balancing light and privacy. Windows are made of broken-bridge aluminum alloy and are equipped with privacy protection films or frosted glass. The signage system should standardize the installation of bilingual (Chinese-English) signs (such as 'Public Toilet', 'Men's/Women's Toilet Stalls', etc.), using durable materials like acrylic to ensure clear text and proportional coordination. Wall colors can be customized according to the usage scenario but must harmonize with the overall environment.

Floor materials should prioritize slip resistance and waterproofing. The base layer uses 15mm-thick waterproof bamboo plywood brackets to ensure structural stability; the surface layer is paved with 600×600mm slip-resistant vitrified tiles or more wear-resistant ceramic tiles, with slope design meeting drainage requirements to avoid water accumulation.

Roof configuration should strengthen thermal insulation and snow accumulation prevention capabilities. The roof adopts a pitched design with a slope of ≥30° to prevent snow accumulation; the interior is filled with 50mm-thick thermal insulation rock wool, and the exterior is covered with waterproof membranes or metal sheets. The indoor ceiling is made of PVC or metal integrated ceilings, which are easy to clean and corrosion-resistant, with reserved maintenance access points.

Doors, windows, and signage should balance practicality and aesthetics. Doors and windows should meet airtightness standards to reduce air infiltration; signage should be installed in prominent locations (such as above the entrance, on toilet stall door lintels), with LED lighting added at night to enhance visibility.

These standards must be strictly followed to ensure the durability, comfort, and environmental friendliness of mobile toilets.
