Kunming Dianchi Mobile Toilet
Here is an overview of the mobile toilets at Kunming Dianchi:

I. Basic Configuration and Capacity
The new mobile toilet vehicles introduced in the Dianchi Resort area are designed for high-traffic scenarios. They abandon the old model of shared stalls for men and women and adopt an independent squatting-position layout. The women's toilet has 5 squatting positions, while the men's toilet is equipped with 3 squatting positions and 3 urinals, allowing for simultaneous accommodation of about 11 people. In addition, the vehicles are specially equipped with 2 accessible squatting positions (one each for men and women), with emergency buttons inside to meet the needs of special groups. This design significantly improves toilet efficiency during peak hours and alleviates queuing pressure.
II. Comfort and Functionality
The vehicles have undergone comprehensive upgrades in terms of comfort: Each stall is equipped with air conditioning and a fresh air system to reduce odors through automatic ventilation; washbasins are connected to tap water, providing instant cleaning conditions. When the sewage and fresh water tanks are full, an environmentally friendly and convenient suction vehicle is used to pump away waste and transport it to a professional disposal site, avoiding secondary pollution. Moreover, the vehicles are mobile and convenient, allowing flexible deployment to high-demand areas based on pedestrian flow changes, such as Haigeng Dam and Haigeng Conference Center, with signage guiding tourists on usage.
III. Parking Scheduling and Support Measures
The vehicles are prioritized for deployment in densely populated areas. For example, additional cleaning staff are assigned to parking lots around Haigeng Dam, with increased flushing frequency and timed cleaning of seagull droppings and oil stains to maintain environmental cleanliness. Haigeng Dam currently has 2 fixed public toilets and 3 sets of mobile toilets. For high-traffic locations (such as Haigeng Conference Center), mobile toilet vehicles are parked in their parking lots and equipped with professional guiding signs. This dynamic scheduling model effectively disperses pedestrian flow and reduces queuing time.
IV. Core Advantages and Application Scenarios
The mobile toilet vehicles boast three major advantages: environmental protection and water conservation, mobility, and rapid response. Their sewage recycling treatment systems meet environmental standards, and the independent squatting-position design reduces water waste; the vehicles can be quickly deployed to areas with sudden increases in pedestrian flow, such as Haigeng Dam during the seagull-watching season, significantly alleviating toilet demand pressure. Additionally, the accessible facilities and emergency buttons inside the vehicles reflect humanized design, enhancing the quality of public services.
