Among the projects planned for implementation in 2024 by the Culture, Sports, Radio, Television, and Tourism Bureau of Akto County, Kezhou, the construction of outdoor mobile toilets is a significant component. Specifically, along National Highway G314, the local area plans to construct or procure three tourist toilets, while also upgrading and renovating three existing tourist toilets, along with improving ancillary facilities. The funding for this project comes from mobile donation funds, totaling 7.5 million yuan. This initiative aims to enhance the level of tourist service facilities along the national highway, meet the basic needs of tourists, and improve the tourism environment.
Additionally, the construction project of the Muztagh Ata International Mountaineering Base in Bulunkou Township, Akto County, Kezhou, also includes the construction of tourist toilets. This project plans to build two tourist toilets with a total area of 120 square meters, funded by local government bond funds, totaling 25 million yuan. As a renowned mountaineering destination, the construction of the international mountaineering base at Muztagh Ata is of great significance for enhancing the local tourism image and promoting tourism development. The construction of tourist toilets, as part of this project, will effectively address the toilet needs of mountaineers and tourists, enhancing their travel experience.
