Kashi Mobile Toilet Renovation
Kashi has taken measures such as constructing new mobile prefabricated public toilets, adding mobile toilets, upgrading privacy protection, implementing smart construction, and incorporating human-centered design in the renovation of mobile toilets.

New Mobile Prefabricated Municipal Public Toilets: This year, Chongmingniao Toilet Technology Group, a member unit of the Toilet Special Committee of the China Environmental Sanitation Association, has built 30 new mobile prefabricated municipal public toilets across Kashi. These toilets are characterized by rapid installation and flexible mobility, allowing for reasonable layout according to the needs of different urban areas. They effectively meet the toilet needs of tourists and citizens, expanding the coverage of urban public services.
Adding Mobile Toilets: Xinjiang will intensify efforts in constructing tourist toilets, adding 50 mobile toilets (prefabricated toilets) along key tourist routes and scenic roads across the region. As a popular tourist destination, Kashi will also benefit from this initiative, further alleviating the problem of difficult toilet access for tourists during peak seasons.
Privacy Protection Upgrade: In response to privacy concerns raised by the use of transparent glass in the disabled restroom at the Xiangfeiyuan Scenic Area in Kashi, Xinjiang, the scenic area promptly completed film application rectification and promoted a comprehensive inspection and privacy protection upgrade of restrooms throughout the area. Privacy security for simple mobile toilets is systematically ensured from four aspects: design source, material selection, acceptance process, and daily maintenance. Materials such as one-way perspective glass or frosted/fogged glass are used. If transparent materials are used, adjustable sunshades or films must be provided. In terms of structural design, it is ensured that there are no gaps between the door panels and walls, with door gaps controlled within 5mm, and door locks equipped with 'occupied/unoccupied' indicators. For ventilation design, top ventilation windows or side louvered windows with an upward tilt angle of 45 degrees are used. At the same time, strict construction acceptance and daily maintenance systems are established to ensure privacy security.
Smart Construction: The newly built public toilets are equipped with a smart management system that displays real-time data on toilet traffic, air quality, and citizen satisfaction through electronic screens. Managers can promptly understand the operation of the public toilets, take corresponding measures to improve services, and enhance management efficiency and service quality.
Human-Centered Design: The newly put-into-use public toilets are not only equipped with basic facilities such as sit-down toilets and disabled barrier-free facilities, but also introduce intelligent devices such as induction toilet prompt lights and hand dryers. They are also equipped with foldable child safety seats and baby changing stations to meet the toilet needs of different groups of people and enhance the user experience.
