Kashi Container House Fire Station
There is a fire station in Kashi built using container house-related technology, with the Xinjiang Kashi Ancient City Fire Station being a typical example. It adopts a prefabricated steel structure module solution, combining functionality with regional characteristics.

Design Features: Integration of Function and Culture
The Xinjiang Kashi Ancient City Fire Station employs a two- to three-story structure with an overhanging design, meeting diverse functional needs through modular combinations. The ground floor mainly houses garages for quick deployment of fire vehicles; the second and third floors accommodate meeting rooms, crew dormitories, changing rooms, and canteens, achieving an integrated layout for office, living, and training functions. During the design process, the architectural style of the Kashi Ancient City was fully considered. The exterior wall color scheme uses warm tones that harmonize with the ancient city's buildings, and window details incorporate traditional Uyghur decorative elements, making the fire station's appearance highly compatible with the surrounding scenic area. This design not only meets practical needs but also becomes an organic part of the ancient city's landscape.
Construction Advantages: Efficiency and Low Impact
This project demonstrates significant advantages under restricted construction conditions. The Kashi Ancient City scenic area is densely populated with limited space for construction operations, and it is necessary to minimize the impact on residents' lives and the normal operation of the scenic area. Through prefabricated steel structure module technology, foundation construction and main assembly of the fire station proceeded simultaneously, completing the entire process from commencement to delivery in just 40 days, shortening the construction period by about 60% compared to traditional buildings. This rapid construction model not only enhances the fire emergency response capability of the scenic area but also reduces on-site wet operations through modular design, effectively controlling dust, noise, and other pollution, achieving a balance between economic and social benefits.
Technical Value: Adaptive Practice of Modular Architecture
The case of the Kashi Ancient City Fire Station validates the applicability of prefabricated steel structure modules in special scenarios. Modular technology, through factory prefabrication and on-site assembly, breaks the limitations of traditional construction on site and schedule, making it particularly suitable for construction needs in compact spaces and environmentally sensitive areas. At the same time, this case provides replicable experience for similar projects: by accurately planning functional zones in the early stage, strictly controlling module precision in the middle stage, and integrating regional cultural elements in the later stage, it is possible to ensure the professionalism of fire facilities while achieving harmony between architecture and the environment.
