Judicial Auction of Mobile Toilets

Admin October 01, 2026

There are indeed auction cases related to mobile toilets in judicial auctions, mainly including two types: auctions of used mobile toilet materials and auctions of properties repurposed as toilets.

Auctions of Used Mobile Toilet Materials

This type of auction typically involves the public bidding disposal of used mobile toilets. For example, a platform service provider once scheduled a public bidding disposal of two used mobile toilet materials on the "Yunzhu Mutual Aid Treasure Bidding Platform" at 18:00:00 on September 1, 2026, and explicitly stated that on-site bidding would not be accepted. To facilitate bidders in understanding the condition of the subject matter, a preview lasting no less than two days will be held at the location of the subject matter starting from 18:00:00 on August 30, 2026. This auction method mainly deals with the disposal of used mobile toilet materials, and the purpose may be to clear idle assets and recover some funds. For bidders, it is necessary to pay attention to the actual condition of the subject matter, including its service life and degree of damage, as used items may have varying degrees of wear and tear, which will affect their subsequent use value or reuse costs.

Auctions of Properties Repurposed as Toilets

In addition to the auction of mobile toilet materials alone, there are also cases where properties originally used as hotel ancillary facilities but repurposed as toilets are auctioned separately. Taking a batch of hotel properties up for auction in Tianxin District as an example, Room 2314 has been repurposed into two restrooms, one for men and one for women, with an area of 29.14 square meters and a starting bid price of 314,000 yuan. The reason for the auction of this hotel ancillary property is an economic dispute caused by the failure of Hunan Shengweisi Hotel Management Co., Ltd. and three other respondents to fulfill their payment obligations under a decoration contract. The subject matter of this type of auction is a property with a specific purpose (repurposed as a toilet). When participating in the bidding, bidders need to consider not only the price factor of the property itself but also whether its repurposed use as a toilet meets their own needs, as well as subsequent costs such as renovation or restoration to its original state. At the same time, since this is an auction triggered by an economic dispute, bidders also need to understand the relevant legal risks and property rights situation to ensure the legality and security of the transaction.
