Jiuquan Environmental Protection Mobile Toilet Design

Admin October 09, 2026

The design of the Jiuquan environmental protection mobile toilet closely integrates with the local geographical and climatic conditions to achieve safe, hygienic, and environmentally friendly closed-loop treatment of excreta. The main features are as follows:

Excreta Collection and Treatment: In response to Jiuquan's characteristics of drought, infrequent rainfall, and scarce water resources, portable toilets are used in conjunction with curing agents or degradable bags to seal and store liquid and solid waste, preventing environmental pollution. Some products employ small-scale biological reaction units that utilize microorganisms to decompose organic matter, but additional insulation or heating designs are required to maintain microbial activity and ensure normal operation in low-temperature environments.

Materials and Structure: The toilet body is made of UV-resistant fiberglass or high-strength polyethylene to ensure airtightness, control odors, and extend service life. The structural design emphasizes wind resistance stability by lowering the center of gravity, adding bottom ballast, or using anchorable foundations to enhance stability in strong winds. Some products use stainless steel, which is suitable for temperatures ranging from -50℃ to 50℃, adapting to Jiuquan's large temperature variations between day and night.

Ventilation and Dust Prevention: The ventilation system is equipped with multi-layer filters to effectively exchange air while preventing dust from entering, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene inside the toilet. This design addresses Jiuquan's frequent dusty weather conditions, ensuring a good user experience.

Water-Saving Technology: Waterless or micro-flush technologies are adopted, such as foam sealing, vacuum suction (requiring only 0.65-1 liters of water per flush), or using collection bags with polymer water-absorbing materials to convert waste into gel-like solids, significantly reducing water consumption.

Terminal Waste Treatment: Waste is collected centrally and transported to urban sewage treatment plants for processing. If degradable materials are used for packaging, theoretically, it can be buried and degraded at designated sites, but it must comply with local soil and climatic conditions. Biologically treated wastewater must pass professional testing before reuse or discharge to ensure environmental compliance.

Environmental Protection and Sustainability: Some models are equipped with solar panels to provide energy, reducing reliance on traditional energy sources. The water-saving design reduces water consumption, and the waste treatment system employs environmentally friendly technologies to minimize pollution, reflecting the concept of sustainable development.

Customized Design: Different treatment methods (such as biological degradation or chemical treatment) can be configured according to needs, and special features like barrier-free facilities can be added to meet diverse usage scenarios.
