Jiuquan Craft Mobile Toilet

Admin September 22, 2026

The Jiuquan craft mobile toilet centers on modular design, integrating standardized manufacturing, efficient resource treatment, and intelligent operation and maintenance technologies to form an environmentally friendly public facility solution tailored to the needs of arid regions.

I. Modular Design and Standardized Manufacturing

The Jiuquan mobile toilet adopts a modular design concept, dividing the overall structure into independent functional units, including toilet compartments, sewage storage tanks, ventilation devices, and optional solar power panels. These units are prefabricated standard components, achieving uniformity in size, interfaces, and functions through standardized design, facilitating industrial mass production. The manufacturing process consists of three stages:

  1. Standardized Design: Based on ergonomics and usage requirements, the specifications and parameters of each module are determined to ensure compatibility and scalability.
  2. Industrial Production: The main frame is constructed from steel, providing high-strength support; the enclosure uses composite panels, offering both lightweight and weather-resistant properties; internally, it integrates toilets, sinks, ventilation, and lighting systems, with some models equipped with sewage treatment devices.
  3. On-site Assembly: After the prefabricated modules are transported to their destination, they are quickly assembled using bolts or snap-fit connections, shortening the construction period and reducing environmental impact.

II. Resource Treatment Technologies

To address the scarcity of water resources in arid regions, the Jiuquan mobile toilet employs two mainstream technological solutions:

  1. Waterless Seal Treatment: Excreta is treated immediately using biodegradable bags or efficient chemical agents, eliminating the need for flushing and achieving a 'zero water usage' goal. This solution is suitable for water-scarce scenarios but requires regular replacement of degradation materials.
  2. Water-saving Recycling Treatment: Utilizing small-scale membrane bioreactors and other devices, a small amount of flushing water is purified and recycled on-site, with single-flush water consumption controlled below 0.5 liters, significantly reducing water consumption.

III. Intelligent Operation and Maintenance System

The mobile toilet is equipped with an intelligent monitoring system that collects real-time data on toilet compartment usage status, sewage tank liquid levels, and equipment operating parameters (such as ventilation efficiency and lighting intensity) through sensors and transmits this data wirelessly to a dispatch center. Operation and maintenance personnel can remotely schedule cleaning and maintenance tasks based on the data or trigger emergency responses when the sewage tank is full or equipment fails, enhancing management efficiency and user experience.

By integrating modular, resource-saving, and intelligent technologies, this craft enables the mobile toilet to possess advantages such as rapid deployment, strong environmental adaptability, and low operation and maintenance costs, making it widely applicable in tourist attractions, temporary event venues, and remote areas.
