Jinshan Park Mobile Toilet
The mobile toilet in Jinshan Park (Jinshan Lake area), Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing, was officially put into use on July 4, 2023. It is located beside the children's playground at the No. 1 entrance of Jinshan Lake, primarily serving the surrounding high-traffic areas and addressing the issues of the original public toilet being remote and having insufficient capacity.

Background and Significance of Commissioning
Jinshan Lake is the core waterscape of Jinshan Park, with a high daily footfall. The original public toilet was located at the foot of the mountain at the tail end of the lake reservoir, far from the main activity areas, and had outdated facilities that could not meet actual needs. In April 2023, the first session of the Jinshan Street Council listed the construction of additional public toilets as a key livelihood project for the year. After research, the location beside the children's playground was chosen to shorten the distance for visitors to use the toilet and improve convenience.
Facility Configuration and Functional Features
The mobile toilet features an orange-and-white design, making it visually striking and harmonious with the surrounding environment. Inside, it is equipped with six gender-neutral stalls open 24/7, each with an independent sink, ventilation, and lighting, as well as handrails and emergency call buttons for safety and privacy. Additionally, the toilet is cleaned and maintained by dedicated staff to ensure hygiene standards are met, avoiding the common issues of odor or dirtiness associated with traditional mobile toilets.
Accessibility Adaptability
Although it is a mobile toilet, the overall renovation of Jinshan Park has simultaneously improved the barrier-free access system. For example, the park entrance's picture book hall has added wheelchair ramps and Braille paths, with the Braille paths extending to the toilet area. Inside the toilet, adjustments have been made to the toilet grab bars and sink specifications, and additional facilities such as paper dispensers and low-level coat hooks have been installed to meet the needs of disabled individuals and the elderly.
Pricing and Leasing Information
Currently, publicly available information does not mention the specific selling price or leasing cost of this mobile toilet. The cost of such facilities is typically influenced by materials (e.g., stainless steel, color-coated steel plates), technology (e.g., intelligent water-saving systems), size, and customization requirements. For further information, one can refer to market prices of similar mobile toilets or contact suppliers for quotation plans based on actual needs.
The commissioning of the mobile toilet at Jinshan Lake reflects the "people-oriented" design concept of urban public service facilities, effectively enhancing the visitor experience in the park through scientific site selection and functional optimization.
