Jinning Container House Installation

Admin September 13, 2026

Jinning container house installation should follow these steps and precautions:

I. Installation Steps

  • Site and foundation preparation: Choose a level, dry site with good drainage. Clear debris, then measure dimensions. Select the foundation type based on geological conditions:

  • Steel foundation: Suitable for short-term or temporary use; quick to build;

  • Concrete foundation: Preferred for long-term use; pour bearing pads and embed anchor bolts;

  • Timber foundation: Suitable for soft ground; requires anti-corrosion treatment. Key point: The foundation should be 10-15 cm above the surrounding ground to prevent ponding, and a waterproof barrier (such as plastic film) should be laid at the base for moisture protection.

  • On-site adjustment and inspection

  • Use a laser level to calibrate site levelness, with error not exceeding ±5 mm;

  • Inspect the container body: Confirm there is no deformation, cracking, or rust; the surface should be ground smooth;

  • Mark the installation orientation: Determine door, window, and piping positions according to the design drawings.

  • Frame erection

  • Fix steel columns: Secure columns to the foundation with embedded bolts or chemical anchors; vertical deviation ≤3 mm;

  • Install beams: Connect columns to form the frame; tighten with high-strength bolts to the design torque values.

  • Container positioning and connection

  • Lift the container: Place it slowly onto the frame with a crane and temporarily secure with locating pins or bolts;

  • Multi-unit connection: Weld or bolt adjacent units together; fill gaps with sealant to prevent leaks.

  • Facility installation

  • Roof and exterior walls: Install color steel sheets or rock wool panels; reserve openings for skylights and rainwater pipes;

  • Doors and windows: Seal frames with waterproof adhesive and ensure smooth operation;

  • Electrical system: Run wiring in protective conduits; after installing outlets and fixtures, test insulation resistance (≥0.5 MΩ);

  • Plumbing system: Lay PVC drainage pipes, seal joints, and perform a water test with no leakage.

  • Interior finishing and protection

  • Walls: Install fire-resistant gypsum board or PVC paneling;

  • Floors: Lay moisture-resistant flooring or tiles; round corners to prevent bumps;

  • Ventilation: Install exhaust fans or a fresh-air system; add a dehumidifier in high-humidity areas.

  • Safety and environmental measures

  • Workers must wear hard hats and non-slip shoes; use safety harnesses for work at height;

  • Set up site barriers and spray water to reduce dust pollution;

  • Sort and dispose of waste properly; keep paint, adhesives, and other flammable materials away from ignition sources.

II. Acceptance and Maintenance

  • Acceptance criteria: Check bolt tightness, electrical grounding resistance (≤4 Ω), and pipe sealing;
  • Regular maintenance: Every six months, inspect foundation settlement and container rust, and replace aged weatherstripping.

Tip: Confirm local planning permits before installation to avoid unauthorized construction; in extreme climate zones (such as seismic belts), strengthen earthquake resistance with diagonal braces or damping devices.
