Admin October 05, 2026

Jingtai County has employed mobile toilets in its tourist attractions to alleviate the problem of tourists having difficulty finding restrooms.

Definition and Characteristics of Mobile Toilets

Mobile toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole and can be placed at locations with fixed or temporary needs to provide restroom services for the public and customers. They have significant advantages such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation, making them highly suitable for tourist attractions, especially those with high tourist traffic and fluctuating demands for sanitation facilities.

Application of Mobile Toilets in Jingtai County

In Jingtai County, the Yellow River Stone Forest Grand Scenic Area, as an important tourist destination, faces a surge in tourists' restroom needs during the peak tourist season. To effectively address this challenge, the scenic area originally had 12 tourist restrooms, and on this basis, an additional 5 mobile restrooms were installed. These mobile restrooms, as a form of mobile toilets, have significantly alleviated the phenomenon of tourists queuing for restrooms during the peak tourist season, enhancing tourists' travel experiences.

Composition and Classification of Mobile Toilets

Mobile toilets are generally composed of multiple parts, including fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary fixtures, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to ensure the normal operation and hygiene of mobile toilets. Depending on their structural form, mobility method, and sewage treatment method, mobile toilets can be further subdivided into various types to meet the usage needs in different scenarios.

Advantages and Significance of Mobile Toilets

The application of mobile toilets not only solves the restroom problem in tourist attractions during specific periods but also reflects meticulous care for tourists' needs. Their mobility allows scenic areas to flexibly adjust the locations and quantities of toilets according to actual needs, enabling more efficient resource utilization. At the same time, the ease of transportation of mobile toilets also allows them to be quickly deployed among different scenic areas, further enhancing their value in use.
