Jingjiang Container House
Jingjiang container houses, realized in a modular construction form for 'packaging and shipping overseas', have become an innovative achievement in the local green construction sector.

Core Technologies and Production Model
The container houses introduced by China Construction Steel Structure Jiangsu Co., Ltd. adopt a full-range modular design, breaking down the entire building into independent spatial units (such as kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, etc.). Over 80% of the processes, including the main structure, interior decoration, and installation of mechanical and electrical pipelines, are completed in the factory. The houses are then transported across the ocean in four independent modules packed into containers and directly assembled on-site at North American project locations, delivering finished residential products that meet local standards. This 'factory-built, on-site assembled' model significantly differs from the traditional brick-by-brick construction method, greatly shortening the construction period. For example, in a previously undertaken 18-story high-rise residential project in Hong Kong, the construction period was reduced from 3-5 years to within 1 year using modular construction, representing an overall reduction of 60%-70% in the construction period.
Environmental and Efficiency Advantages
Modular buildings generate almost no significant noise or construction waste during the on-site assembly phase, aligning with the stringent requirements of the North American market for green construction. Factory-based operations transfer most processes indoors, significantly improving product quality control precision while eliminating the need for workers to engage in outdoor high-altitude work, greatly enhancing construction site safety. Additionally, the modules are connected to the foundation using high-strength bolts, enabling the overall structure to withstand strong typhoons and high-magnitude earthquakes, meeting North American building codes for safety performance.
Qualification Certifications and Market Expansion
China Construction Steel Structure Group Co., Ltd., the parent company of China Construction Steel Structure Jiangsu Co., Ltd., has obtained CSA W47.1 welding enterprise certification, CSA A660 steel structure building system manufacturer certification, and CSA A277 modular product certification, becoming the first enterprise in China to collect all three core Canadian building standards. These certifications cover compliance requirements for welding quality, overall building systems, and modular product full-process compliance, laying a solid foundation for the company to enter the high-end North American market. Currently, China Construction Steel Structure has established a complete industrial system covering R&D and design, intelligent manufacturing, and on-site installation, and is accelerating its overseas market layout starting with its first batch of North American orders, exporting a replicable green construction 'Jingjiang solution'.
