Jinghong Intelligent Mobile Toilet

Admin October 10, 2026

The intelligent mobile toilets in Jinghong, represented by integrated public toilets, feature modular design, integrated smart devices, humanized facilities, intelligent management, and scientific distribution.

  1. Modular Design and Eco-Friendly Materials
The intelligent mobile toilets in Jinghong adopt a modular design concept. Core components such as the base, partitions, and roof are prefabricated in factories and can be quickly assembled on-site through splicing, ensuring high construction efficiency and minimal impact on the surrounding environment. The main materials are recyclable and eco-friendly, allowing for secondary use of disassembled parts, aligning with the principles of a circular economy and effectively reducing resource consumption.

  2. Integrated Smart Devices
The toilets incorporate multiple smart technologies: smart sensors automatically detect when a user approaches, triggering functions such as toilet lid opening and faucet water flow to reduce the risk of contact transmission. The smart lighting system adjusts brightness or switches light colors based on ambient light intensity, balancing energy efficiency and comfort. Some high-end models are also equipped with smart health monitoring devices, such as scales and body fat analyzers, allowing users to sync data to their phones via Bluetooth for extended health management.

  3. Humanized Facility Configuration
Each public toilet is equipped with barrier-free handrails, family restrooms, and sensors to meet the needs of special groups, including people with disabilities, families with children, and the elderly. Internally, they are standardly equipped with tissues, hand soap, air fresheners, deodorizing equipment, and UV disinfection lamps, ensuring fresh air and preventing mosquito and fly infestations through both physical and chemical means. Additionally, sensor-activated faucets and automatic flushing systems further reduce contact and enhance hygiene levels.

  4. Intelligent Management Model
The operator assigns dedicated personnel to conduct two comprehensive inspections daily, ensuring that any litter or debris is cleared within 10 minutes of discovery to maintain a clean environment. Daily disinfection and supply replenishment follow standardized procedures to ensure an adequate supply of hygiene products. In the future, smart tissue dispensers are planned to be introduced, allowing users to scan a code and receive free tissues, with a daily limit of one per person to prevent waste and reinforce environmental awareness.

  5. Scientific Planning and Distribution
Since the successful pilot of the first unit in May 2020, eight intelligent mobile toilets have been built in the urban area of Jinghong, all located in high-traffic areas along main roads. Jinghong City Development Co., Ltd. dynamically adjusts the layout based on real-time pedestrian flow data, precisely alleviating the challenge of finding restrooms through "opportunistic" construction. In the future, the coverage of toilet locations will continue to be optimized to enhance public service convenience.
