Jimo Concrete Prefabricated Housing

Admin September 18, 2026

Jimo has made remarkable progress in the field of concrete prefabricated housing (prefabricated buildings), boasting advanced production bases and multiple application projects.

The Meihao Prefabrication Production Base in Jimo is the most intelligent, well-equipped, and high-capacity production base for prefabricated concrete components (PC) in China. It has been put into operation and is leading the direction of building industrialization in the Peninsula region. This provides a solid industrial foundation and technical support for Jimo's development in the field of concrete prefabricated housing, enabling Jimo to possess strong production capabilities and technological advantages in this field, meeting the needs of large-scale prefabricated building projects.

In terms of project applications, multiple projects have been constructed using prefabricated concrete technology. For example, in the first phase of the Qingdao Impression Chuan project, residential buildings 6# to 12# adopted prefabricated technology and were designed as prefabricated reinforced concrete shear wall structures. This structure offers good integrity and seismic performance, ensuring the safety and stability of the buildings. Additionally, components such as prefabricated concrete sandwich insulated shear walls and composite slabs were used, with a monolithic assembly rate of approximately 51%. The prefabricated concrete sandwich insulated shear walls not only provide thermal insulation but also enhance the building's energy efficiency; the composite slabs improve construction efficiency and reduce on-site wet work.

The Longhu·Xuelangfu Block A project also features similar applications. Residential building 15# is similarly designed as a prefabricated reinforced concrete shear wall structure, utilizing components such as prefabricated concrete sandwich insulated shear wall exterior panels and composite slabs, with a monolithic assembly rate of 50%. The use of these components makes construction more standardized and regulated, contributing to improved building quality and construction efficiency.

The Jinyufu project also adopted prefabricated building technology. Residential buildings 11# to 16# in Block A and some residential buildings in Block B utilized this technology, with a monolithic assembly rate of approximately 50% for the residential buildings. Components such as factory-prefabricated composite slabs and prefabricated concrete sandwich insulated exterior wall panels were used. Factory prefabrication ensures the quality and precision of components, reduces on-site construction errors, and improves the overall quality of the buildings.
