Jilin Public Mobile Toilets

Jilin has adopted two major measures in terms of public mobile toilets: rental services and 'shared restrooms'.

Mobile Toilet Rental Services

To meet the restroom needs in various scenarios, Jilin offers a diverse range of mobile toilet rental services. Whether it's large-scale events like marathons, concerts, and music festivals, or temporary work sites such as construction sites, appropriate mobile toilets can be rented according to actual needs. The types of rented mobile toilets are abundant, including epidemic prevention center mobile toilets, which focus on hygiene and epidemic prevention functions, effectively preventing the spread of germs and ensuring the health and safety of users; portable mobile toilets, which are small in size, light in weight, and easy to transport, suitable for temporary and small-scale events or venues; outdoor mobile toilets, specifically designed for outdoor environments, equipped with windproof, rainproof, and sunproof functions, able to adapt to various harsh weather conditions; electric mobile toilets, powered by electricity, easy to operate, and possibly equipped with some intelligent facilities to enhance the user experience; and eco-friendly mobile toilets, which emphasize resource recycling and environmental protection, adopting water-saving and energy-saving technologies to reduce the impact on the environment.

'Shared Restroom' Convenience Initiative

Jilin City has launched the new convenience initiative of 'shared restrooms', actively mobilizing social forces to participate in co-construction. Street-facing businesses and government agencies have transformed their internal restrooms into 'convenience stations' and opened them to the public. Since February this year, 327 (or 328, according to some sources) units have joined the shared convenience services, significantly increasing the number and coverage of public restrooms. To make it easier for citizens to find these shared restrooms, Jilin City has also launched the 'Jiangcheng Toilet Finder' WeChat mini-program on mobile phones. Citizens can simply use this mini-program to achieve 'one-click navigation' to 614 various types of restrooms, quickly finding the nearest restroom location, forming a '5-minute restroom service circle'. This effectively solves the problem of citizens having difficulty finding restrooms when going out and improves the city's public service level and the quality of life for citizens.
