Jiayuguan Craft Mobile Toilet
The Jiayuguan craft mobile toilet features adaptability to special climates, water conservation, proper waste disposal, and scientific spatial layout and maintenance management.

Adaptability to Special Climatic Conditions: The Jiayuguan region experiences arid conditions with infrequent rainfall, frequent sandstorms, and significant temperature variations between day and night. The outer shell of the mobile toilet facilities is made of special materials that offer strong resistance to wind erosion and UV aging, enabling them to withstand sandstorms and prolonged UV exposure, thereby extending their service life. The internal materials can handle the expansion and contraction issues caused by temperature changes, preventing cracking and deformation due to thermal expansion and contraction, ensuring normal operation under harsh climatic conditions.
Advanced Water-Saving Technology: Scenic areas may face unstable water supply or water usage restrictions. The mobile toilet employs vacuum suction or foam sealing technology to reduce the amount of water used per flush. Vacuum suction technology utilizes air pressure differences for cleaning, while foam sealing technology achieves cleaning through special media. These technologies change the traditional water flushing method, keeping the water used per flush within a low range, effectively conserving water resources and meeting the water needs of scenic areas.
Diverse Waste Disposal Methods: There are two types: collection and temporary storage, and real-time treatment. Collection and temporary storage require regular removal by specialized vehicles. The storage containers emphasize sealing and corrosion resistance to prevent waste leakage and odor emission, avoiding pollution to the scenic area environment. Real-time treatment integrates biodegradation or chemical treatment devices inside to convert waste into neutral substances on-site. However, it requires a stable energy supply and regular maintenance, and its applicability in remote scenic areas needs specific evaluation to ensure treatment effectiveness and normal facility operation.
Scientific Spatial Layout and Maintenance Management: The site selection takes into account the main sightseeing path nodes, areas of instantaneous tourist congregation, and logistics supply vehicle routes in the scenic area. A reasonable layout can effectively divert tourists, avoiding long queues in front of fixed public toilets while not interfering with the view of main landscapes. Facility maintenance management includes regular cleaning and disinfection, consumable replenishment, equipment function checks, and rapid response to faults. In large scenic areas, establishing a centralized monitoring system for dispersed facilities helps to promptly understand the usage status and material inventory of each toilet, dispatch maintenance resources, and improve management efficiency.
